If this is in the wrong forum, I do apologize...
I've been toying with two different timeline ideas and was wondering which you guys might be more interested in reading?
The first involves the SDP-Liberal Alliance winning the 1983 UK General election. We would get a leadership struggle between Roy Jenkins and David Owen as well as with David Steel to become PM and Labour is made almost a fourth party trying to stave off complete collapse. Margaret Thatcher is also challenged for leadership of the Conservatives.
The other timeline is a 1972 comeback by Hubert Humphrey who defeats George McGovern in the Democratic primary and gets a rematch with Richard Nixon. Humphrey chooses Morris Udall as his running mate. Does HHH win or will Nixon be re-elected dealing with a much tougher opponent?
Let me know which you guys would like...
