Viacom just can’t catch a break can’t they.
On the other hand, South Park being on Adult Swim might mean that Adult Swim doesn’t need to license the FOX animated sitcoms. This would be a major butterfly, as reruns of Family Guy and Futurama on Adult Swim was what caused both of those shows to be revived.
The former never being revived would give it a better reputation overall (No Seahorse Seashell Party, no Life of Brian, no Brian’s A Bad Father, no Stewie’s Pregnant, basically no Family Guy episodes after 2003) and would possibly free up Seth MacFarlene to do something else.
I couldn’t have put the Mike Lazzo quote better myself and I wonder if south park will overshadow robot chicken

Maybe here, TW could buy out the other half of Comedy Central, and maybe MTV and Nickelodeon after TW gets a lot of money.

Or I might create the "Warner Networks Group", a mixture of MTV Networks(main 3, MTV, CC and Nick) and Turner.
I'd like to see a logo out of that......
It should be "WARNER NETWORKS GROUP" in a font not unlike the WB or Viacom font of the late 2000s, with several small boxes showing off each MAJOR brand:
- MTV-pink
- Comedy Central-scarlet
- Nickelodeon-orange
- TBS-blue
- TNT-yellow
- CNN-red
- Cartoon Network-black/white
That's nice, but how are Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, and Comedy Central and [adult swim] gonna fit under the same group?
Looks like Viacom's pettiness is about to get the better of them. Wonder what'll happen next.
- Cartoon Network remains a all-animation channel, and would probably become more mature, even merging CNX into it.
- Boomerang and Nicktoons merges to form Cartoon Network 2.
- Nickelodeon basically becomes "Kids' WB on Cable" in all but name.
- Noggin and The N separates, with Noggin being split into two:
- Jam: preschool shows
- Noggin: edutainment shows for kids and stuff like that.
- The N replaces Nick GaS.
- CNX becomes a geek-based channel.
- Comedy Central would remain the premiere brand for comedy television with Warner Bros.'s strong comedy library along with their sitcoms and HBO's comedy.
- Adult Swim becomes the go-to place for adult animation and moves it's main base of operations to MTV.
- MTV becomes an experimental network with VERY LITTLE reality shows, it largely airs adult animation and other stuff like that, basically, America's equivalent of 2X2.
- MTV2 becomes The Box, a ALL-MUSIC, ALL THE TIME network.

Huh that’s funny. I suspected that Nickelodeon would become all live action shows to compete with Disney Channel - and it would work better since all the live-action and animated shows are put into separate networks.
But then again, knowing the antics of Dan “show a toe or you don’t get the show” Schneider - I guess that’s not true anymore.
