Good summary

I wonder what's going to happen to Nickelodeon in 2003.
Well, other than All Grown Up!, basically NO new Nicktoons will premiere..........MLAATR is now going to be on Fox Kids(SPOILER ALERT: Rob Renzetti gets the rights to MLAATR and takes it to Fox, where he was already working on another animated series)

Romeo!, The LOL Factor and Bill's Peanut Butter Jelly Time Show will premiere, and the latter two, spoiler alert, but those, as well as a earlier version of Zoey 101 are gonna be the last shows Dan-u-know-who makes........

Tensions will be high throughout BOTH Viacom and TimeWarner by the end of the year(requires a article @THEKINGFISH217, but you won't need to do it for at least a week or two).

Les Moonves will strike down ANYTHING related to Star Trek, as well as UPN's new hit Saturday Morning series Lydia of Naturi, thus resulting in that show's studio shopping the show elsewhere.....

SLAM!, the network's action block, will be canceled after losing Yu-Gi-Oh! Who takes the show next, it's gonna be a surprise!

Allegations of Moonves' shady behavior will come to light.

Spike Lee's lawsuit on Viacom over the launch of Spike TV gets blown to extreme proportions....................for no other reason than media loving drama........

The rest of Viacom's networks suffer drastic ratings declines........

Even the entirety of the company suffers.......

Also, nice to meet you @lukesams!

Nice to meet you as well. As for Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, what do you predict is going to happen to those two in 2003?

Speaking of Toonami, is the Miguzi block (Toonami's weekday replacement) butterflied in this timeline?
Well, ITTL, Toonami remains on weekdays until 2007, so, unless something happens or it becomes a weekend morning block, most likely, especially with some of the shows that made the block(ESPECIALLY Totally Spies!, TMNT 2K3 and Code Lyoko) most likely being on other networks ITTL.

As for Cartoon Network's Friday night block, Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, what happens to it in this timeline?
Well, since the AOL-TimeWarner merger was butterflied and now, Betty Cohen, who's going to remain the network's president for a bit longer, is planning to make more originals, especially since Hanna-Barbera still exists(ITTL, they decide to keep the studio not only to honor the founders, but also, to get more competitive in the animation field).

Well, you'll have to wait and find out, but one thing that DOES happen is that Toonami expands to Saturday nights next year while keeping weekdays.

So uh, you want me to write yet another post Otaku?
  1. I actually wanted your opinions on what was gonna happen next year, hence those posts.
  2. I probably WILL need you to write at least 2 more articles while we're in 2002.......
  3. The Viacom one, I'd prefer to have out this week, while you have at least 1-2 weeks max. for the TimeWarner tensions one........I just wanna see Viacom's empire fall........
  4. I am planning another update for both TLs today, so expect those later today.

OK. But since I am simultaneously writing an update for my TL, don’t expect the Viacom update until Saturday. Is that OK for you?
