TL-191: After the End

What is the fashion of TTL like? Do men still wear suits daily since the US is more conformist?

It depends on the workplace, as in our world. In TTL, there are some civilian suit designs in the US, by 2021, that are inspired by military dress uniforms.

Wearing hats lasted longer in the US in TTL in comparison to our world. Hats did not really fade as a fashion choice in the US until the early 1970s in TTL.

Who are the best club and international sides in (association) football ITTL?

International football competition is fiercely competitive in 2021. The reigning World Cup champion in 2021 is the Empire of Brazil, whose national team has also won the most championships in TTL.

There are prestigious regional leagues around the world, from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. The USA is not really considered a prestigious country when it comes to football in 2021.

In 2021, the US has, as in our world, used both male and female names for hurricanes.
Have they had to go into the Greek Alphabet yet ie-what is the status of climate change in TL-191 ? Is it as far along as in OTL and has more, less or bout the same been done about it worldwide ? Also is clmate change denial a bbig thing in the USA as is it is OTL ?

Did the Canadians view the Quebecois as traitors after both Great Wars? if so, what is their opinion on them now?

How was the internal scene like in Britain and France post-Second Great War? Especially after Britain ceased to be a superpower and that France had suffered 3 defeats in a row to Germany?

But despite all that and the destruction of London and Paris by superbombs the Germans cant be assured that the Silver Shirt and Action Francaise influence has been removed from both countries -only to try again in another generation or two.Especially the UK which knows how to make superbombs. How does Germany secure its left flank without occupying them both ?
I have a feeling that the USA would support and be willing to help occupy the UK if only to not lose New York or Philadelpiha to a UK superbomb in 1970...

Have black people and families who survived the Destruction received reparations or financial restitution from the government of Texas the way Israel did from West Germany and Japanese Americans did from the US government OTL.It seems like the least Texas could do considering the horrors done on its soil and by some of its citizens at the time...
Also has the Ottoman Empire resisted the classification of what it did to the Armenians during the GW as a genocide and has the USA,Germany and other allies gone along with that or defied them-hopefully ?

Britain and France were banned from having large armies or navies, and weapons of mass destruction (nukes included).

After GW2, Britain and France were a wreck financially, politically, etc. The Germans cared more about repairing Hamburg then the capitals of their 2 biggest enemies. People moved out in mass number to places like Australia or Quebec so that they wouldn't have to live under German domination.

In 2021, climate change is becoming a more noticeable problem around the world. Due to the greater and more evenly distributed levels of industrialization across the world in TTL, the impact of climate change in different areas of the world, from flooding to more severe storms to more severe droughts, is fated to be more severe, earlier on in comparison to our world.

I imagine that during the Occupied Canada era, many Canadians, especially those who had come of age in an independent country, did view the Québécois as traitors. That view faded with time, after the end of the SGW, and as a new postwar Canadian-American identity developed. In 2021, Canadian-Americans, like other citizens of the USA, generally view Quebec as just another independent country.

The respective economic and social situations in France and the United Kingdom in the immediate years after the end of the SGW was nothing short of bleak. It was a period marked in both countries by a near economic collapse and a struggle for survival. There was no equivalent of the OTL Marshall Plan, although the Germans and Austro-Hungarians ultimately provided some assistance for the reconstruction of London, Paris, Brighton, and Norwich. Both France and the United Kingdom experienced high levels of emigration during the first postwar generation, with most British emigres leaving for Australia and New Zealand and most French emigres (including virtually the entire French population of a forcibly decolonized Algeria) leaving for Quebec.

The French and British finally began to see an economic recovery during the 1960s, as part of the worldwide economic boom that proceeded the Fourth Pacific War.

The British and French are in no position to pursue anti-German and anti-US revanchist policies after the end of the SGW, not least because by the end of the conflict, the Germans and the US both have superbomb arsenals, while the British and French do not. The British and French also face the specter of a USA that is no longer distracted in North America by a hostile neighboring CSA.

How is the History of Canada taught in the ex-Canadian states?

Why didn't the USA annex Texas? At the end of the series, Dewey wanted to readmit all of the ex-Confederacy, and a large U.S. military presence existed in Texas toward the end of the SGW. I feel like the USA would have annexed Texas by 1946 (on the 100th anniversary of their statehood).

It probably isn’t... very much in the same vain Mexican history (or even the history of the settlers prior to the Mexican American War) isn’t really taught in California, Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas at least not in any detail.

How is the relationship between the Eastern European EC nations that used to be a part of the Russian Empire prior to the FGW (especially Ukraine and Belarus) and Russia by 2021?
