As an Arizonan, I was wondering if TTL New Mexico uses the daylight savings system? Because if it does, God have mercy on the poor souls living in the western part of that state who have to deal with an extra hour of sunlight every day.
What kept Patton from getting the death penalty? Was it because of his respect as a brilliant barrel commander? In your write up, he is treated lavishly in prison by having the privilege of getting access to Fort McSweeney's academic library.

Since you said Alfred Astaire is an ATL descendant of Fred Astaire, how different is his famous grandfather's(?) life and if he does ever becomes a famous actor too?
Why he would had been hanged? In OTL Wehrmacht generals/marshalls weren't hanged only because they were enemy generals/marshalles. By that logic OTL von Manstein, Guderian and some tohers should had been hanged. Perhaps Rommel too if he would had survived from WW2.
Wehrmacht generals were mostly spared because the Soviets held dominion over Eastern Europe after WW2 and the WAllies thought they'd need them around in the event of a third World War. ITTL, the USA has no existential threats left in the hemisphere after the CSA's fall and not putting guys like Patton in the hangman's noose or even not have them stand trial unlike Freedom Party officials and the Guards would result in a "clean CS Army" myth that Confederate separatists could rally around, something the US would much like to avoid.
At minimum, I would not be surprised if Patton looked the other way while the Freedom Party Guards rounded up Blacks living in occupied US territory, much like other CS commanders.

Since Charles I lives and rules Austria-Hungary longer, when does he die and how is the reception for his passing? How is the rule of his son Otto, or analogue thereof, like in an ATL modern AH?
Probably he would live at end of 1940's or even to end of 1950's. Otto's reign probably would see futher reforms and federalisation of the empire.
Sadly a clean CS army myth would be stamped out by the US given the likely view of the CSA being rotten to the core. Though if it did develop then it might actually be easy since the CSA didn't see the citizens of the USA as inferior the same way the Nazis saw the Soviets and it's likely both sides engaged in Imperial Germany style reprisals after guerrilla attacks so it could be seen as tit for tat. As for rounding of Blacks in occupied US territory, I remember something interesting from the last book was how one of the defense for one of the camp commandants was about national sovereignty and how as far as both sides did the Confederates "only" murdered their own Blacks and not any in the US.
Is it true though? Would anyone really consider a camp commandant as a reliable source, the equivalent would be Adolf Eichmann stating that Germany only rounded up their Jews.
Maybe there are no official CSA Einsatzgruppen analogues, but I wouldn't be surprised if Afro-American civilians and captured troops were disproportionately punished in anti-partisan/"anti-banditry" operations, to say nothing of what probably happened in occupied Haiti. Featherson hated Blacks enough to authorize a genocide in the first place and the CS almost certainly would've taken the Population Reduction throughout North America had they won, if not Featherson himself, then his successor.
I'm not completely sure either way as there are many parts of the timeline that are unclear. But in the book the lawyer named Moss I believe it was written that as far as he knew the Confederates only killed Blacks in their own territory. Given that he was the assigned lawyer I feel that the implied information there would seem to indicate that they didn't really care about Blacks in the US but I could be wrong. I do remember that in Haiti the Blacks were subject to the camps so that may be the case, but one thing is true is that in the series there weren't a lot of Black people in the USA due to how they were disliked and given how the CSA didn't really occupy too large of the USA they might not have had the chance to do the deportation. In the last book, I also recall how one of the Black characters who served as a truck driver returned to Kentucky and manage to find a few surviving Blacks who apparently survived by becoming informants, so if Black people in the Confederate proper manage to survive without becoming guerrillas there no reason to doubt that the same would be true for those in the USA. As for African-American troops, if I remember correctly apparently they weren't allowed to serve in the US army in combat roles until like 1944 so most captured Black fighters would have been likely actual partisans who would have likely been immediately executed.
Jean Shepherd doesn’t exist in TTL. By 2023, there is a rough analogue to the Shepherd family that mostly lives in Chicago.

After the end of the Second Great War, George Patton was not given the death penalty because of the combination of an effective legal defense and the private interventions of his wartime foes, General Ironhewer and General Morrell, against a death sentence.
The outcome of Patton’s postwar trial was controversial, given his role in Operation Blackbeard and the atrocities that Confederate forces committed in the occupied areas of the USA in the Second Great War. Some US politicians and journalists associated the outcome of Payton’s trial with the acquittal beforehand of Clarence Potter, although the two trials were not carried out simultaneously.
By 2023 question of whether or not the outcome of the postwar Patton trial was correct or not remains controversial at an academic and popular level in the USA.
I don’t recall if Fred Astaire is mentioned in the series.
In TTL, the analogue to Fred Astaire became famous in the world of musical theater in New York City as a dancer, actor, and choreographer. Unlike in our world, Astaire never became a film star. Later in his theater career, Astaire also became a talented director of plays and musicals.
Alfred Astaire is a grandson of Fred Astaire. He earned a law degree from Harvard before joining the Bureau of Investigation.
It's possible that there were relatively few black people in the areas occupied by the Confederates. In 1860, 1.6 % of Ohio's population was black and 2 % of Pennsylvania's was. It's possible the percentages would be higher than that by the 1940s, but it's unlikely numbers would be as high as OTL.
By 2023, the Native American communities generally have a high standard of living in most of the United States. This is a legacy of the heavy investments that were made in infrastructure and education that were made in different Native American communities by the Humphrey, Blackford, and Reynolds administrations. The Reynolds administration encouraged efforts by different Native American tribes to preserve their languages and traditions.
By 2023, some Native American tribes operate casinos, although this is not universal across the United States. Different tribes also benefit economically from resource extraction. Some lands in different areas of the USA were returned to different tribes in the decades after the end of the Second Great War. This didn’t happen in Sequoyah, because of the support that the Native Americans in that state gave to the CSA in the Great Wars.
The history of the treatment of the Native Americans by the USA remains a polarizing topic among the US public and academics by 2023, and this is unlikely to change.
The USA will eventually have a Native American president in TTL.
The analogue to Oskar Schindler in TTL, of the same name, was born on a different date in comparison to our world. He served in the Austro-Hungarian military during the Interwar period as part of his mandatory military service. Following his military service, Schindler found work in a factory in Prague that manufactured farming equipment. Schindler eventually rose to the rank of supervisor. During the Second Great War, his factory was converted to manufacturing armaments, before returning to the manufacturing of farming equipment after the conclusion of the war.
Schindler retired in 1959, and remained in Prague. He died of natural causes in 1982.
