Titus and the British Isles

IIRC, Titus stopped the northern expansion into Caledonia in 79 AD to have Agricola subjugate the Western tribes instead. Would it have made any difference to the conquest of Caledonia (and perhaps Hibernia) if he had let the expansion continue uninterrupted?

Still, Agricola was subduing Caledonia when Domitian recalled him (and subsequently, presumably killed him). If you want a Roman Caledonia, either have Titus live longer, or have Domitian not recall Agricola.

I would prefer to have Titus live longer (until 98 AD) and butterfly away Domitian's reign totally (and Nerva's). Maybe Titus would have to kill his brother to make that happen.

Not really (on the killing his brother part). Domitian gets a lot of bad rap that he doesn't deserve (He wasn't a great emperor but he wasn't that bad either). IIRC, Titus promised to get him more involved in the imperial administration/military than Vespasian (who basically ignored Domitian) did. Although he hadn't followed through on it yet, he had only been reigning for 2 years at his death, so I think he just hadn't gotten around to it yet.

So a surviving Titus could mean Domitian gets some exposure to public life and some sort of military career (IIRC, he wanted a military career but Vespasian basically denied it to him).

If Agricola is away conquering Caledonia (and possibly Hibernia), what military career would be left for Domitian? A try at Germania Magna?
IIRC, Agri Decumates was consolidated as Roman territory during Domitian's reign IOTL.
