Admittedly, I know very little about the history of the Balkans, and what little I know comprises that Tito was the one man who managed to keep Yugoslavia together through the Cold War, and that following his death in 1980 the situation steadily degenerated until the Balkan wars broke out.

The premise of this thread is what if Tito had been killed during WWII along with the Partisan movement, leaving the Chetniks as the leading group following the War. What are the chances that following the war that a campaign of ethnic cleansings had immediately commenced under Mihailovic, and how a new round of conflict in the Balkans would have affected the course of the Cold War.
