I read a book in which there was an AH WW!! going on and Hitler becomes Pope! I kid you not. Could it have been HITLER HAS WON?

Yes, if I remember correctly. My copy went when a collection of bastards trashed the place where I was keeping briefly some of my books. By a guy called Mullally (or something like that), if I recall.

Sorry. It was Frederic Mullally, 1975. There was a British paperback edition. But after that, I'm afraid you'll have to google.
