Titanic doesn't sink

The safety regulations brought in afterwards won't be introduced - not until something comparable happens, anyway.

The song my heart will go on won't exist. I'd have seen boob for the first time somewhere other than that movie. I might not have been 11 though.

The Gigantic doesn't get renamed the Britannic, and possibly still gets sunk as a hospital ship in the Great War.

Meanwhile Cunard's Lusitania becomes an even bigger tragedy in memory if it still sinks off Ireland, or elsewhere.

And the Empress of Ireland's sinking might actually get remembered, though then again IIRC its overshadowing was due more to the outbreak of the Great War than to the Titanic.

The changes in the United States could be substantial considering the fact that many of the countries wealthiest and most influential men were onboard and perished.

And White Star could win out over Cunard, possibly.

For some reason I'm somehow amuse at how the movie Titanic loosing any cultural importance as a movie keep getting bigger every years :D I guess its one of the few mega-blockbuster multi-award winning people talk so much for a while that when every jokes in the book have been done about it they got sick of it :D

Sadly the song is sticking more than the movie

But just consider how it would have change severals thing in Hollywood :D (well at least we got rid of several "historical" love story about people of different class, but damn it we are still stuck with Historical movie with love triangle, which mean Pearl Harbor still can be made )

it would have sank within a couple of years anyway, there was a thing on discovery about how the titanic had a structural flaw and would have probably started to break apart in the first "major" storm or two it encountered...

Wouldnt it's sister ship Olympic have suffered such a fate?, it lasted untill 1935.

God, I hate Celine Dion.

Maybe if the Titanic sinks, that bitch will be forced to whore herself out, and I won't hear that fucking song, ever.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I have to disagree. That song has resulted in me getting more than a few smooches. So, it's had some positive uses. :p

There's a lot of potential butterflies. Bruce Ismay isn't derided for the rest of his life. Mollie Brown is far less well known. Archibald Butt might actually soothe things between Taft and Roosevelt. Jaques Futrelle keeps writing. So does Archibald Gracie. William Stead does, too, as well as speaking our against war. Thomas Andrews keeps designing ships. Francis Millet keeps producing art.

And that's just getting started.
