Timeline Ideas Please comment

I have been a member of this site for a while and I think it is finally time for me to contribute something. I have 3 ideas for timelines and I would like to know what people think of my ideas. Please tell me if any of my ideas have already been used.

Timeline 1- The Rove Machine- Karl Rove becomes president in 2004

Timeline 2- A heartbeat away from victory- Cheney dies in 2000 due to a heart attack and is therfore not bush's vp

Timeline 3-A sword through my heart- Iraq wins the war with Iran but Saddam is assinated by a kurd involved in an Iranian plot to control the middle east.(based on saddam's victory swords in baghdad)

Please indicate which timeline you think I should do just by typing (Timeline 1) or (Timeline 2) or (Timeline 3)

There are quite a few political tls out there right now and few modern military ones so I'm going to go with #3 as well

#1 is scary, and you should take a long, cold shower for suggesting unleashing such terrible things upon the United States.

#2 is probably better for the country in the long run. Maybe Bush is more of his own man throughout the first term with a less, erm, vampiric Veep.

#3 I have no idea. I would go with #2.

Results So Far

It seems that most people so far want me to do the third timeline. I already have an aproximate outline of how I want the timeline to develop. I will start research on my timeline ASAP, but just because most people picked option 3 that doesnt mean the first two options will be ignored. I plan on trying to do at least 2 of the 3 timelines I listed as options. I will be checking up here to see the general trend of things regarding peoples opinions.

Well if Cheney dies, George Patacki gets the VP nomination. Since Patacki is actually competent we'll see Bush winning the popular vote and a slightly better Bush presidency. Possibly no Iraq War, I'd assume Patacki would side with Powell when he debates the invasion with W. That'd be a very interesting timeline.

I like all of these ideas however.
