Timeline Help

I am thinking of doing a timeline of What if hte Constitutional Convention failed in 1787 and America remained un-unified for almost a century? Other have the right idea of saying that it would unify after seeing Italy and Germany do it. Here is the basic background info, I want the timeline itself to start in 1863 after America seeing Italy and Germany unify in 1861 and 1862 respectively.

*1787 Constitutional Convention fails
*1796, Confederation Congress meets for last time. Each state is independent.
*1796-1798 Massachusetts and Virginia fight a war over land claims in the Northwest Territory. It ends in a stalemate and the State of Washington is formed in 1799 out of the Territory with its capital at Cincinnati.
*1807 Because Napoleon did not send troops to the New World as he felt there was no threat among the many states, the troops are used to launch a second invasion of Egypt, which is as successful as the first one.
*1812 Napoleon invades Russia with more troops as he wants to restore the peoples faith in him after the Egyptian fiasco, he has 550,000 troops. This results in him being more foolish and consequently, only 15,000 return to France and Germany after marching across Russia again in the winter. He stays on Elba, guarded by the British fleet and dies in 1823.
*Louisiana is given to France again after the defeat of Napoleon and many Imperials and Republicans are exiled there. However, this backfires when they rebel in 1827 and form the Louisiana Republic.
*Mexico is successful in the 1820 Revolution and gets all the land it had before the Mexican-American War.
*The Second Republic in France in instituted but Napoleon III does not launch his coup and the Republic is moderately stable.
*Italy forms out of the Kingdom of the Two Scicilies in 1861. In a move to get the North to go with the new Italy, the capital is at Florence.
*Prussia is more successful in the Six Weeks War and occupies Austria as well as Southern Germany in 1862 to form Germany.
*1863 The timeline begins.

Any suggestions?

how do you get Mass and Va onto a battlefield? They don't have a common border. Virg. at least borders the area in dispute. Mass. has to go through NY and Penn.

*1796, Confederation Congress meets for last time. Each state is independent.
I think it would be more like the LON in the '30's. One by one the members drop out, till in the early 1800's only a couple states are left,
But everyone still pays lip service. to the Union-- Like the HRE in the early 1800's.
*1796-1798 Massachusetts and Virginia fight a war over land claims in the Northwest Territory.
It ends in a stalemate and the State of Washington is formed in 1799 out of the Territory with its capital at Cincinnati.
This will have a lot of trouble with the British Forts around the territory. no Jay Treaty.
Wait a Min -- Virginia and Massachusetts had given up their claims in 1781,
and the NW Ordinance had already established some states in this territory by 1796.
*1807 Because Napoleon did not send troops to the New World as he felt there was no threat among the many states,
the troops are used to launch a second invasion of Egypt, which is as successful as the first one.
In 1798 France still had a Fleet to transport the army to Egypt, By 1807 France no longer has this Fleet [destroyed in Egypt back in 1798]
And the French Invasion of Eygpt was sucessfull, It was the Invasion of the Levant that caused all the Trouble.

Louisiana is given to France again after the defeat of Napoleon and many Imperials and Republicans are exiled there. However, this backfires when they rebel in 1827 and form the Louisiana Republic.
The Money needed to invade Russia came from the sell of Louisiana to the US. No US No Money
Politically there would have been no way to take Louisiana from Spain and Give it to France in 1814, Even if Spain had still owned it.
Also the US was ready to invade New Orleans in 1803, and if the negotiations had gone the other way, either with - France or Spain - whe would have taken it.
By 1812~14 It would have been solidly American [Not necessary USAin, but American]
And Napoleon's retreat was not a foolish thing , But dire nessicity, as he had no food to wait out the Winter.
*Mexico is successful in the 1820 Revolution and gets all the land it had before the Mexican-American War.
If Napoleon lost in Egypt in 1807, He is not going to be disposing his Spanish Ally in 1808.
No King Joseph in 1808 with the Liberal constitution,
Ferdinand IV never in Exile and restored,
Irutribe was within weeks of crushing the Rebellion in 1819, when he received work of the restoration of the liberal Constitution.
Irutribe considered Mexico Betrayed by Spain and joined the Rebels.
ITTL no Liberal Constitution, no Betrayal, the Rebels are crushed.
*Italy forms out of the Kingdom of the Two Siciliys in 1861. In a move to get the North to go with the new Italy, the capital is at Florence.
?Where was the Capital OTL? Rome was occupied by France at the time.
does his mean that Sicily win the war with Savoy
In 1860–1861 the kingdom was conquered by the Kingdom of Sardinia, and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies dissolved.
I don't think the North would have accepted King Ferdinand of Sicily, the same way they accepted the King of Piedmaont-Sardinia.

?What happens with the Creek Wars of 1812?, I doubt if General Jackson and his Tennessee Boys would be in Georgia.
How did no trail of Tears affect the Indian Question? ?What happened to Florida?
How did the Gold Rush of 1824, and the Country of Georgia suddenly being the Richest Nation. affect things?
How did the didcovery of the Potomac Gold Fields in the late 1830's affect Virginia/ Marysland relations.
[ OTL - in 1849 the Potomic river basin was the largest gold producing region in the US - Changed in 1850 after California started producing].
It was Virginia's finally giving up its claims in 1781, that got Marysland to accept the AoC.
Marysland would not be happy if Virginia suddenly started reclaiming old territories, as there was a major Border dispute between the two pre 1781.

In truth, I had not thought out much of the European theater as the main action will be taken in North America. My mistake obviously, that shall be corrected promptly.
