Timeline-191, but with the analogues flipped

We all know (and most likely aren't all that fond of) Timeline-191's reliance on analogues to OTL. Well, what if we were to flip the analogues backwards? By this, I mean we take the "X country is analogous to Y country" statement and spin it around, so, for example, instead of "The CSA is Germany" it becomes "Germany is the CSA."

Here's all of the flipped analogue statements that I can think of right now. I can't recall any other analogues, so if there are any more please say so.

Russia is the USA
Germany is the CSA
Japan is France
Italy is Britain
Spain is Mexico

Doesn't this mean Russia has to conquer Germany in the 1800s?

Probably, unless there's some other way that Germany can become the CSA.

Huh. I didn't think of it like that. Well, those would certainly be "interesting" times for the inhabitants of this world.

Edit: I guess that would make either Sicily or Veneto Ireland.
