Tim Burton's Dinosaurs Attack!

This is sort of frivolous, but I think it still might be intersting.

In 1988 Topps released Dinosaurs Attack!,, in which a Science Experiment accidentally transports Dinosaurs into the present, where they go on rampage.
The cards were a gorey, inaccurate, and a deliberate throwback to their successful "Mars Attacks!" Card series from the 1960s.

While the cards weren't a commercial success, Burton did apparently consider making a movie based on them, only to shelve the project once "Jurassic Park" came out.

Instead he did "Mars Attacks!", also a Topps trading card thing.
and it ended up competing with "Independence Day", anyway.

But instead, what if he decided to go forth and make Dinosaurs Attack!?

Sense Mars Attacks! was done as a sort of Homage to the cheesy alien invasion movies of the 1950s, is it possible that Dinosaurs Attack! might be a deliberate throwback to the stop motion style of Ray Harryhausen, or perhaps a Rubber suit Godzilla style film?
