Tilden Presidency in 1880

By most measurements, Tilden should've won the election of 1876. He was considered for 1880 but declined, and given how close 1880 was IOTL I'm confident that he probably would've won if he was nominated then. There's been talk of if Tilden won '76, but I'm wondering what might have happened had he taken Garfield/Arthur's place in the timeline(assuming Guiteau doesn't try to shoot him for "stealing it from the honorable [INSERT REPUBLICAN NOMINEE"). There's also the fact he died IOTL in 1886(he was 72, so it's not unreasonable this would still happen around that time ITTL), which has the question of who his vice president might be(either if he decides to run for a second term, which seems less likely, or if the stress of the job expediates his demise).

I think Tilden's health wasn't up to it in 1880. I wonder what kind of President he'd have made?
