The 75 ton (short ton, 2,000 lbs) Tiger II had a 690 hp gasoline engine. As a comparison, a modern day Leopard II tank weights 69 tons (short) and has a 1,480 hp turbo diesel engine (with a diesel's much higher torque at lower rpm). The Tiger II (and other late war German tanks) was prone to breakdowns due to overstressed machinery, inadequate/substandard raw materials and poor/sabotaged production quality. The lack of necessary minerals also impacted armour quality and performance.
For starters, is there anyway we can get a 1,500 hp engine into the Tiger II by late 1944? If the Tiger II is more reliable and has better armour material, how does it perform in battle? It is an impressive looking tank for sure, just calling out for a more powerful powerplant.
