Hey all,
In OTL Xu Shouhui was a rebel leader in the 14th century rebellions against the Yuan dynasty. By 1352 he had taken a sizable portion of China until he was defeated by a Mongol army and then in 1360 Xu was assassinated by Chen Youliang. From what I've read I get the impression that at the beginning Xu lead a reasonably coherent group of rebels. so my question is this; what if Xu hadn't been defeated in 1352 and managed to overthrow the Yuan dynasty? He claimed to want to "destroy the rich to benefit the poor" and was a follower of a millenarian buddhist sect so what would his regime, the Tianwan Empire, look like?
