THICC: The Highly-Inclusive Color Code

I think that having the BLM in the rebels would rub some people the wrong way.
True, hence why it is a difficult one to do. I support the movement but currently it is sadly against the line of the powers that be, so in that sense it aligns to rebels. However, it must be said, given it is a civil movement, a la the movements within Venezuela with the AUC and FARC (though thankfully more civil and calm for the vastly most part) and those are on the country relevant part of the scheme, and given it ties well to another potential scheme element, it could work either way.
I'll leave it to Boris to decide, but personally, due to the delicate nature of the protests, I would avoid putting it directly on the scheme/ in my notes for now- that is why I asked if any other suggestions to go with captiol autonomous zone (if Boris gives the go ahead, I'll probably align it to racial equality protest)

Korea is definitely planned to get some love, though idk if will be explicit on each of the provinces just yet, we'll see :)

-Had not got to Russia yet, so some welcome suggestions, can you explain the following to me, as unfamiliar: Gardarike, As-Slawiya, Ezryas, Mokshas, Svitrigaila supporters (can't do the accent on the s, sorry)

Hope raises your hopes and any other suggestions (try to avoid from other colour schemes and more from own suggestions, as chances are that it is on my text sheets I made for each colour scheme, in order to compare in what we missed in THICC. Thank you and looking forward to more suggestions in the future one and all

As a native Russian, I can explain.
Mokshas and Erzyas are two ethnic groups of Mordovia. They speak different languages.
Gardarike is the name, that Vikings gave to Kievan Rus. It means «The Land of Cities».
As-Slawiya is an Arabic name to Russia.
About Svitrigaila you can read here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithuanian_Civil_War_(1432–1438)

How difficult is it to come up with colors?
It isn't necessarily difficult to come up with the colours, it is more just time-consuming with the scale of THICC and other schemes to try put them together. Furthermore, Boris has to try and make sure that the colours won't clash and such like.

I welcome though if people come with more suggestions, makes the scheme even more comprehensive :).

Any chance these suggestions will ever be implemented?

Just a heads-up but most names that you used int the Polish section of you scheme don't make much sense.

Here are some changes that I would suggest:

Silesia/Lemko Republic/Opolska -> Silesia/Opole or Silesia/Opolszczyzna (Lemkos have nothing to do with Silesia, In Poland they mostly live in Subcarpathia/Podkarpacie for which you don't have a color)

Olesnicka -> Oleśnica

Zaganska/Upper Silesia -> I think you meant Żagań but that city was historical a part of Lower Silesia. Besides for Uppers Silesia you should probably use Katowice.

Woitowitz/Lower Silesia -> I have no idea what city is this supposed to be but for Lower Silesia I would use Wrocław/Breslau

Cieszynska -> Cieszyn or Cieszyn Silesia

Brzesko-Legnicka -> Brzeg/Legnica/ Duchy of Brzeg-Legnica

You could also add colors for:

Podkarpacie (which can also serve for the Lemko Republic)

Lubelszczyzna/Lublin (which can also serve for Orthodox Poland)

Not quite got there yet, but I am looking forward to updating the Silesian duchies to align to those notes, thank you for bringing them forward.

Just to give a tease, updated Germany some more, may well get a few more still, but currently Germany in 3.0 has 164 colours if I recall right, including split Bavarias, Reuss and the Saxon duchies getting some more love.

Also retouched up Canada, currently only BC, to represent the large variety of indigenous first nation tribes there (think it is around 15 new colours, not sure though, could be more or less, but definitely been boosted). Will try and dedicate myself though a bit more thoroughly to the updating.

Last teaser is also is that, thanks in a massive part to Tungster, plans for an Extra THICC big update are coming together very well, with a lot of new content for you niche map makers.

Happy anticipating,
All the best,

As many of you are in the dark currently, I know that I showed off Austria a long while back now,
But I am at a position to be happy with the first of the sequences, i.e. Canada. Of course, if you guys know of anything missed that needs attention, please do tell me, as although I am happy with it I can imagine there are things missed.

As a note though, for British Columbia,Although I know Cascadia was very heavily populated with natives, I am happy with this density, but otherwise, any other suggestions are fine :).

I have some Rebels suggestions:

-Boudica
-Tomas Müntzer
-UNITA
-Caucasus Emirate
-Cola di Rienzo https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cola_di_Rienzo
-I guess, there should be White Army's Factions. Because White Movement in Russia was very very different. Kolchak, Denikin, Vrangel, Markov, Drozdovsky etc. could have their own colours. In White Russia they could fight for power in Russia.
-Nils Dacke
-Red Cloud. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Cloud's_War
-Old Believers. After Patriarch Nikon's Church reform a lot of believers rose against those reforms. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solovetsky_Monastery_uprising
-Cossacks. Don't mess these guys with russian Peasants.
-Ching Shih/Canton Pirates
-Tây Sơn dynasty
-Jacquerie

Also, change a colour for Shining Path in Rebels' Part on red. Because in Peru&Bolivia's part Shining Path has got a red colour.
P.S: sorry for my bad english

No worries on the English, it flows well enough :).

Really like these suggestions, and I know some are potentially in already (like Cossacks), but none the less some interesting suggestions that are good to note, so thank you,
Keep up the suggestions guys,

All the best,

-Commune of the Working People of Estonia
-Chud/ Ancient Estonian State
-Terra Mariana/ Papal State in Eastern Europe
-Valgamaa/ Baltic Estonia
-Latgalia/ Russian(Russian, not Slavic) Baltics.

-Aukštaitija/ Kaunas

Looking forward to what else you have to share, I can note that one or two of those diseases were added, but this definitely expands our roster.

Best wishes,

I have a couple of requests:
Bulgar colour
More colours for different Turkic groups
Other Caliphate colours
Separate Emu colour (not grouped in with any other group)
Different E.U. colour (I can't tell it apart from the Republican France colour)
Sassanids separate from Christian Persia (they were Zoroastrians)
Otherwise, it is an excellent colour scheme!

Edit: I have found the Bulgar colour, but I am not sure why it is not in the same section as Bulgaria.
Also, what are "Secret Texas" and "Ross from "Friends" but he has a gun"?

-Not sure if BLM would go in main part of scheme or in rebels, but good nod with the capitol autonomous zone, any other suggested alts to it?

I think that having the BLM in the rebels would rub some people the wrong way.
BLM is kinda redundant with the "New Afrika" color as a state and the "Black Panthers" rebel color IMO and CHAZ could just be one of the many Washington State colors already added, or the "Anarchist" color.

here are some other suggestions:
  1. we need colors for buddhist india and maybe "other dynastic china" (maybe there are but i can't find it)
  2. croatia and slavonia should have separate colors, as should bulgaria and thrace

I use Pala Empire as Buddhist India, it works well since the Pala were buddhist OTL. You could also use the Mauryan empire

Love your progress, Boris! But I do have a question.
What do these mean? are they for colonies or countries with their pre-colonial origin?
