Lovecraft is already in, just split up Trackeh ;), fair on alt and non human. Will say my suggestions will include more (but hadn't thought of those)

Agreed with more 'archies' but Boris wasn't a fan last I brought it up, but I shall voach for more ;).

Good ideas for other two, and interesting with tech level colours ;).

Whoops,
also forgot Distributions for economic system.

Version 1.1 of THICC is complete with additions to Western Europe

-The sugesstions for Conglangs and stuff are great, but not there yet, they'll be in there in 1.2

-Ive seen a couple people suggest Technology levels, and I'm interested, but not really sure what that means ( is it like stone age, bronze age etc?)

for the technologies, that is basically what I was thinking, it could go something like:
  • pre-stone age (prehistory)
  • stone age
  • bronze age
  • iron age
  • steel age
  • nuclear age
  • computer age
  • space age
  • etc.
maybe even a few ASB ages like Steam age (steam punk) or hyperspace age

  • pre-stone age (prehistory)
  • stone age
  • bronze age
  • iron age
  • steel age
  • nuclear age
  • computer age
  • space age
  • etc.

Personally I prefer this tech lineup:

Stone Age
Bronze Age
Iron Age
Medieval Age
Renaissance Age
Industrial Age
"World Wars Age" (I don't have a good name for it)
Atomic Age
Information Age
Near-future Age
Fusion Age
Far-future Age

The pic isn't showing it's full size.

Also, I still suggest you split up space/sci-fi and fantasy/religion like I suggested

Thanks. Also, I suggest that it be made a bit more clear where each level's boundaries are.

Something like:

Pre-Stone Age (-3400000BCE)
Stone Age (3400000BCE-3600BCE)
Bronze Age (3600BCE-550BCE)
Iron Age (550BCE-476CE)
Medieval Age (476-1444)
Renaissance Age (1444-1642)
Steel Age (1642-1836)
Industrial Age (1836-1945)
Nuclear Age (1945-1995)
Computer Age (1995-2020)
Space Age (2020-)

Using my system that would be:

Industrial Age (1836-1914)
"World Wars Age" (1914-1945)
Atomic Age (1945-1995)
Information Age (1995-2020)
Near-future Age (2020-2200) (Fallout, Fate of the World, Children of a Dead Earth, Elysium, The Martian, Artemis etc)
Fusion Age (2200-2350) (The Expanse, Civilisation: Beyond Earth, Alita:Battle Angel, Avatar, Passengers etc)
Far-future Age (2350-) (Orion's Arm, Star Citizen, Warhammer 40k, Firefly/Serenity etc)

I wouldn't be so specific in ages, not only do regions not reach the same technology level at the same date but each region's age doesn't include the same technology

So, to ensure that this is the most inclusive color code, over the course of the next [REDACTED] days I'll go through the other major color schemes and see if there's anything we've missed.

Current list:

Roman(ic) Britain / Romance-laguage speaking Britain
Anglo-American Union / Oceania / Holy Britannian Empire
Great Lakes state
Theocratic America
Unified Eastern Bloc
Goths/Latinized Germans
Unified Europe
Unified South America
Alpine State
Chou China
Corportatism
Technocracy
Unified Timor
Eastasia / Chinese Federation / Other pan-Asian state
East India Company
Turkish government-in-exile

Remaining color schemes to look through: TOAST3R. It's the (second) largest scheme so it'll take a while to go through.

What about wastelands? I feel that a few colours may be needed for nuclear wastelands (the most obvious one) as well as solar flares, zombie-controlled areas, disease-ridden areas, grey goo, spatial anomalies (stuff like black holes, wormholes, galactic "scrapyards" where dangerous things wind up) and anything else you can think of.

Thanks!

Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Fiore, and Almia are conspicuous in their absence from Japan, as are Unova from Eastern USA, Alola from Western USA, and Kalos from France. :p

Zomies and Grey Goo are covered in Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but these other ones are great ideas and I'll add them in.
