I wonder what the Olympics of TTL looks like, considering the near cold war circumstances, climate change, Pax Britannica and so forth.
Expect a lot of British teams from all of the Dominions.I wonder what the Olympics of TTL looks like, considering the near cold war circumstances, climate change, Pax Britannica and so forth.
Only as much as it is to any other dictatorship. Is this a parallel to Chile/Brazil during their dictatorship periods?

Funny that the British should be mentioned, since the Imperial Games is the closest thing this world has to an Olympic Games. Teams from across the British Empire--with player rosters that tend to be more diverse--compete in a multitude of challenges which test both brain and brawn.Expect a lot of British teams from all of the Dominions.
So, there was no Olimpic Games in our sence TTL?Imperial Games is the closest thing this world has to an Olympic Games
As an unironic New York/New England secessionist,
Why, if I might ask?
Well, then I don't think you'll be very pleased living in TFS' New England. Although it's a place with generally socially liberal policies, high quality of life and representative government, it is still a part of the British Empire and consequently an arm of British Imperialism. It has just exited a destructive war with the United States where the British government tried to install a puppet government and caused widespread strife and suffering. The Empire until recently was run an oligarchic Board of Trade headquartered in London and also includes the openly racist dominions of Westralia and Avalon, which are still stuck in the "white dominion" mindset of the OTL 1950s. New England, although not part of the United States in TFS is still a member of an imperial project.I don't want to support capitalism, the U.S war machine, or Christofascism. I feel the tax dollars of the East Coast could be better spent creating a progressive state and culture if we invest them in ourselves. I recognize my beliefs are fringe and nigh-impossible though

And speaking of the United States in ITTL, there is no such thing as the "U.S war machine" or Christofascism in the TTL's US. TFS's USA turns basically every aspect of OTL's USA upside-down. It's a secular, socialist one-party state which had not been at war for almost a century prior to the Third Anglo-American war of 2021, is deeply isolationist and besides a few historical friends, is only allied with fellow international pariahs and socialist states. It has a very friendly native American policy, allowing many tribes self-government and even nominal independence, with only foreign and military affairs handled by Cincinnati.
In short, if you aren't really a fan of capitalism or imperialism, you opinions on New England and the USA might be reversed in TFS.

Unfortunately, no. Sports in general are quite fractured. So, there was no Olimpic Games in our sence TTL?
And what about Sokol Movement? I can imagime Sokol Games as TTL "Slavic Olympics", and Russian Imperial Games analogue.
As the Jewish developer of the TL, I am genuinely happy to see the author of another timeline with Jews at the forefront enjoy These Fair ShoresJust binged this, this is so cool. As an unironic New York/New England secessionist, this is a very interesting timeline. I'm very happy my apartment is in TTL's New England
