Theodore's Kingdom of Corsica

Can it survive?
Could Theodore and the rebels have held off the Genoese themselves? If not, could any foreign power ever have had an interest in and a capability to intervene on his behalf?
Perhaps he could find capable allies in the Ottomans, Venetians, or Spanish?

It would be interesting to see an independent Kingdom of Corsica. Especially come 15 August 1769 when a girl named Letizia Ramolino gives birth:D

Maybe Paoli et al could even lead the Armée de Corse to conquer Genova? Though would it be as Anglophile as the Revolutionary era Corsica was or more Francophile? Or even Germanophile due to Teodoro's ancestry?

His Kingdom was too early but there were chances for an Independent Corsica during the Napoleonic period.

I think with the right backing, it could be "more" successful than it was. Maybe if it hadn't been established when Europe was more concerned with other matters.

However, an heir would still be necessary in order for it not to simply relapse when Teodoro dies. AFAIK, the OTL prince of Caprera was nothing more than a pretender.
