Themistocles

he was ostracized from athens for 10 years so he went into exile in the persian empire. what if he is offered some large reward of a high position in govt if he helps the persians conquer greece(requires a fleet)
OR
he goes to sparta instead of the persians and they ask him to aid them in their conquest of athens once again he is offered gold/position in govt

would he accept either offer?

When is this? So much turns on it, though I don;t think that Themistocles can bring down Athens for Sparta. For Persia, maybe, but thats another story.

Themosticles was the father of Athenian democracy, I doubt he'd work for Persians. Even if he did go and work for another city, which is likely, he would never work for the Persians because they're at war. Ostracism wasn't a deathblow to someone's politicla career-he could expect to bounce back from it whereas if he worked for th ePersians his political career would be dead outright, he'd be a traitor to the Greeks.
