The XK-BAM map series

In 1498, a large tsunami hit the coast of Venezuela, one of many that have occurred throughout the centuries. But this one was unique, as it breached a natural levee located between modern-day Araya and Sucre, and created the Gulf of Cariaco. This is what the area looked like before:

But these are historical regions, as of now Romania has 41 counties as their first-level administrative divisions, the 2018 8K-BAM was the right one (even though it is til this day lacking communes)
It still marks the historical regions using county borders, which is incorrect.
