The War of the Grand Alliance and Spanish Succession

In his dangerous illness in 1696 the King was cured by the intervention of St Diego of Alcala, whose body had been brought to him in his greatest extremity.

The king was Charles II of Spain, whose death in 1700 would cause the War of the Spanish Succession. WI he had died 4 years earlier? At that time the War of the Grand Alliance was still raging, so his death would lead to a combination of the 2 conflicts.

Joseph Ferdinand would be recognised as king of Spain by everybody but the French and sent as soon as possible to Madrid, even being only 04-years-old. The butterflies might even make him survive and become an adult. But I'm not sure if the Alliance would make a deal with Louis XIV, giving him some territories in exchange for peace. Probably they would not want to give anything to France, but the Habsburgs would still claim some of the Spanish territories in Italy.
