TY
I prefer the more detailed [although for 1400's] ;Especially the southern borders of the Duchy of Prussia
I think they lost all those lands with the treaty of Thorn in 1466 and after that prussia's borders didn't change much until the first world war except the incorporation of the Prince-Bishopric of Warmia, but as i said before i'm not the expert on that

And what about the counties of Borculo and Bredevoort ? had they already been annexed by the Spanish ?

thanks !Decapole as @felixs said
the "Borculo question" was not resolved until 1615
Bredevoort was subject to Charles V until 1556 then Philip II and as such is shown as Spanish

those subkingdoms on the border should eat deeper into what is now modernwales. not sure on the exacts but this is innacurate. maybe start by looking into the dykes? i know the modern border is a very specific product of how the anglo/cambro-norman marcher lords were integrated into the county system. Here is my attempt of recreating the kingdom of Mercia. Any suggestions/mistakes or corrections?

It might be possible to recreate the entirety of Britain in the 6th, 7th and 8th century. However we probably don't know the exact boundaries.
what series/ basemap is this from? i gathered you made it but beyond that im a bit lost. The Aargau and Ticino areas are completely wrong for this period I'm afraid, and I don't really think it's worth indicating the difference between the Forest Cantons and the City Cantons so much as between the cantons and subject territories.
This is a few years old now, but should still be useful. I've kept on thinking I should revise it to demonstrate the bits of the City Cantons that were subject territories in the same way mind.
