Premise: So I've often found that among the wars of the 18th Century (where my interest lies most heavily), the War of the Austrian Succession is oddly neglected by historiography, especially within the Anglosphere. Yet I think its one of the most interesting wars of the century and was quite important to the history of Europe, hence my interest in it. And within the War of the Austrian Succession there is a battle is also quite neglected unlike Mollwitz or Fontenoy. This battle is the Battle of Dettingen. Yet this battle was quite a significant one, because had it had it gone the other way it would have completely changed the situation in Bavaria. So now within this TL, I intend to bring light to both the war and the battle. Comments, criticism, etc. welcome.
