How likely would it be that the United Fruit Company keeps their power in Central America longer than in reality?

Well, the UFC did have a lot of power in Central America... in Honduras, Tiburcio Carias was backed up by UFC executives, in Guatemala they even established a company town on the Caribbean coast and backed the Arbenz coup. So I'm just wondering if this political interference could have continued for longer, say into the 1990s?Umm what are you getting at?
No bannana massacre would help
What do you think would be the consequences of that, other than the obvious one of less protests?
