"Anti-Sedition Act"? Four Senators charged with violating it? Has a political purge happened?

"Anti-Sedition Act"? Four Senators charged with violating it? Has a political purge happened?
Because the Anti-Sedition Act is a law in Confederate States that punishes anyone for attempting to change the constitutional ammendment, anti-religion chants and rants, attempts to disrupt the functionality of government as well as inciting a rebellion and attempt to alter laws that are based on religious ethics or attempt to incite tirades against religious ethics.

Yes, four senators conspired plot that are based on leaked doccuments that they plan to incite a rebellion. Political Purge? No.

Oceanian Chapters: Klinghoffer expedition to New Silesia
Klinghoffer expedition to New Silesia
Prussian King Frederick II began to finance scientific expedition. on March 20, 1760 as he was planning to observe transit of Venus in 1761, Frederick II began preparations for commanding scientific voyage to the Pacific Ocean to search for signs of unknown southern continent, Terra Australis Incognita or unknown southern land in order to search for unknown tribes in the unknown mysterious southern continent. he wants well-skilled mathematician and cartographer to take charge or lead the expedition while he has ambition to take part in international maritime commerce. he released instructions to observe transit in 1761 during the voyage and to set landing point at the end of transit. astronomer Johann Elert Bode could accurately calculate the distance of Venus.

Adelger Klinghoffer was a good mathematician and cartographer and subsequently promoted as commander for expedition in search for unknown southern continent. according to sources, King Frederick II could fulfill their dreams of projecting power into overseas. he was instructed to make secret and not to show any powers while he was making the old Dutch maps as his favorites. the expedition is composed of 5 ships and was intended to build fort and observatory while five ships supplied by guns and cannons for defense against native attacks while five ships that purchased has strong defense and caulked and another one is supply of provisions like food and alcohol while several two notable botanists, two artists, a scientific secretary and expert, and two servants are also joined in embarking the expedition.

On August 4th, 1760, Klinghoffer departed from Königsberg, carrying 93 people and 18 months of provisions. On November 19, SMS Friedrich had reached Rio de Janeiro and stayed their until December 6, re-provisioning and making repairs. they left Rio de Janeiro for continuation of ongoing expedition. according to his journal, he described Guanabara Bay as "heavily defensive and fortified." the ship rounded Cape Horn and continued to sail westward across the Pacific Ocean to arrive at Matavai Bay, Tahiti on April 17, 1761 where the observations are made. according to his journal, he observed the transit of Venus and he said "On the second day, the planet is moving around the solar disk and the whole day is sometimes perfectly clear, so that we can fully experience about the observation". the final observations was completed and he proceeded to the next expedition and on July 28th, Klinghoffer and his team left Tahiti for next second orders.

The expedition resumed and now heading towards the unknown mysterious island with the help of Tahitian named Tupaia who had extensive knowledge of Pacific geography, Klinghoffer managed to reach the island of Lusatia what is now New Rhineland. he mapped the complete Lusatia and New Bavaria coastline especially hydrographer Volker Rothmann said "We should claim this island for our nation before anyone can use the transit of Venus mission by belonging this place for Prussia and our German nation!". Klinghoffer is the second one to do so after Abel Tasman earlier in 1642.

Arapaoa Island

On January 17, 1762, Klinghoffer climbed Kaitapeha peak on Arapaoa Island and saw the strait separating North and South Islands which named Klinghoffer strait but this strait foreshadowed that proved both Lusatia and New Bavaria islands is not directly part of imagined unknown mysterious southern continent and considered an island and on March 3, 1762, he sighted Bode strait which he thinks Rothmann is another island. while he thinks that the island is not part of mainland unknown southern continent and instead, he thinks that is separate part of southern continent.

Klinghoffer wrote his diary on "Exploration of Mystery" which became novel that SMS Friedrich "must be allowed to set aside the most." and "set sail into search for unknown mysterious people. I mean head sail westwards again." he might think that he will command set course to to resumption to explore westwards.

On the same day, he recorded the decision to continue exploration westwards by set course into unknown east coast of New Holland (what was now New Silesia):

"Many times has been resolved to quit this place to move westwards and we had to look to search for signs of unknown mysterious continent or unknown people. for the reason of my thoughts how many times that we will look westwards into unknown and we should kept in pace. we need to have correct awareness about severe strong winds but the expedition of unknown continent might be doubtful, but we will resolve by the way to command expedition into unknown continent whether proved that it is real or not."

According to Klinghoffer words, he was commanded to sail set course to explore unknown east coast of New Holland in order to chart and name landmarks.

On April 20th 1763, he sighted the eastern coast of New Holland. The ships log that recorded that the land was sighted at 6:30 am and he thinks that unknown southern continent was proved real. while his team had surveyed the coastline of what is now New Silesia and starts coast-to-coast expedition on April 21st, he found Bass Strait and headed back to main point where the ships sighted the east coast of New Holland. keeping in land sight with Klinghoff charting and naming landmarks as he went. A little over week later, they came across the extensive but shallow inlet, and upon entering it moored off a low headland fronted by sand dunes. Adelger Klinghoffer and crew made their first landing on the continent , at a place now known as Botany Bay, on the Rothmann Peninsula and he noticed aborigines and began extensive survey to establish penal or future colony but instead, Captain Ferdinand Schickedanz gave orders to relocate to a harbour a few kilometers to the north. which Klinghoffer further explored Port Schickedanz and began continuation of extensive surveys for future settlement. Klinghoffer commenced botanists to record European scientific documentation of Australian fauna and flora.

At Klinghoffer's original landing contact was made with the local New Silesian Aboriginal inhabitants and they noticed aborigines on the headlines. At about 3 pm they put anchor down near the coastline and found peaceful aboriginal tribe. according to diary of Klinghoffer, he said "The aborigines are living peacefully but not getting arrogant against us. they give us beads as a true sign of friendship". upon heading closer back to ship. Klinghoffer and crew had left Botany Bay and he charted and mapped Port Schickedanz.

Klinghoffer continued northwards, charting and mapping along the coastline. He stopped at Frederick Bay at 8 in the morning on May 24th 1762 and found freshwater stream. he noticed great deal of smoke on the hills and found cockle shells and other evidence of aboriginal occupation and he began to command to bring down anchor to land on coastline of Frederick Bay where he and his crew encountered another aboriginal tribe and began to survey to explore inland. While there, 2 botanists and biologist Friedrich von Wurmb made their first major collections of continental Australian flora and fauna. The crew made peaceful contact with the aborigines and made the name "kanguru" entered both German and English language, coming from local tribes which pronounced gangurru.

On 19th of August, 1763, Klinghoffer reached the northernmost tip of the coast. he named Cape Rostock and departed east coast. he turned ship westwards and found "navigable to Indian seas. he mapped the entire northern part of eastern Australia or New Silesia. and Klinghoffer and crew visited Savu island, staying for three days before proceeding to Batavia, the capital of Dutch East Indies to put in for repairs. unfortunately due to Batavia having high cases of malaria outbreaks, Klinghoffer's company succumbed to disease and other aliments such as dysentery. Adelger Klinghoffer proved that New Holland and New Guinea were part of same landmass but New Guinea is not connected to landmass.

On October 1st, 1763, Klinghoffer then rounded around the Cape of Good Hope and stop at Cape Town which Klinghoffer and crew spent for three days and continue to set course for homeward bound. SMS Friedrich had sailed up into North and Baltic Sea, avoiding battles with French since Prussia is part of Anglo-Prussian alliance. passing coastlines and on October 3rd, the ship anchored in Königsberg and handed over Klinghoffer's and crew journals and diaries to King Frederick II, proving that the discovery of unknown mysterious continent is real.

Klinghoffer's Second and Third voyage is proven more successful but some times failures as one of ships suffered 3 damages on every exploration and one of Tahiti native named Tupaia had died during 3-day stop at Batavia in 1777 while on his final voyage, Klinghoffer had died of malaria in Manila, leaving Captain Schickedanz to command. meanwhile, James Cook expedition to New Holland and Louis Bougainville circumnavigation of globe (including exploration of New Brittany) and Anza's expedition of California and New Extremadura of 1772-1775 which marked the start of colonization of Australia and other islands.

Nice to see my home state of Idaho is still alive, a bit bigger, and still retains a unique shape at that too!
Of course, @AkulaKursk, the Idaho border is expanded based on Chicago Agreement where any territorial/state borders are adjusted to match the population in order to have smooth clear for complete admission of these adjusted territories into states in 1891.

Question for the day #2
I'm curious as to a couple of things:
*What are the nation-states in what is our Brazil?
*How are the Pakistanis treated by the Iranian government? Turkmens?
*How's Arabia doing? Stable? Chaotic? About the same?
Thank you for questioning @Bennett, here are the things that you requested:
  • The nation-states or countries of OTL Brazil are Amazonia, Nawigacjiana, Bahia, and Guyana
  • Baluchis are independent. Pakistani states are part of India
  • Arabia has 3 countries: Hedjaz, Jabal Shammar, and Gulf Federation
What's life like in the US ITTL?
Thank you for answering, @terranova210486.
Here are the list of everyday life in the United States by National Geographic Magazine:
  1. Do you know that the United States is the most progressive, liberal, and libertarian country in the world. Population is very diverse because people from all aspects of all ethnic, religious, languages, and gender background are having more equal opportunities and has complete individual rights as well as strong and powerful equal protections for all aspects of different genders like LGBTQI+s. the Anti-Discrimination Law of 1970 which prevents homophobic attacks and imposes strong penalties. the United States along with other democratic, syndicalist, and communist countries (Japan, United Kingdom, France, and etc.) have favorable places for fleeing LGBTQs.
  2. The United States attracts everything from businessmen to students and also to anyone who wants to escape persecution. the country is the technological and economic powerhouse of the world, second to the United Kingdom and Japan.
  3. United States have huge amounts of Spanish, Dutch, French, and German native speakers. so if you live in another state, you should practice speaking four languages but with an option or choice if you want.
  4. America has fond of cuisines because of long history of colonial period which colonists had brought delicacies from Europe. however it mixed or combined with European and colonial cuisines due to cuisines has been brought by immigrants and refugees. the important cuisines from the United States are Missourian baguette and croissants, cassoulet, flamiche, poffertjes, appeltaart, clam chowder, sancocho, salad, arroz blanco, fluffernutter, bratwurst, leberkäse, spätzle, currywurst, mangú, gazpacho, pisto, escalivada, esqueixada, New England marmitako, Midwest pintxos, adobo, kare-kare, garlic bread, reuben sandwich, cacciatore, baked beans, oysters, sinigang, paksiw, and more.
  5. Music of the United States is very popular worldwide along with the British and Japanese because, the United States along with Japan, United Kingdom and other countries are more successful in hosting international pop genres. the international pop genres are from the United States, these are electropop, synthpop, rock, rap, afro/cosmic, rock, metal and punk, hip hop, northern jazz, expermental, electronic dance music, folk, dance, and classical music. the music has mixed with Native American, Dutch, English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Scandinavian, Afro-American, Celtic, Filipino, Latin American, Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cajun and Creole, Russian, and other ethnic and religious music that brought and mixed with local elements.
  6. The country has it's strong and advanced transport system. you can ride TranscendSpeed Express which will you take in 4 or 6 or 9 hours if you prefer to travel to other cities. you should come to ride ahead of time or exact time. while on parking, you should present your electronic-ID to avoid inconvenience.
  7. Universal Basic Income and other laws that you can experience. however, when you're visiting central urban districts. you should walk on pedestrianized areas.
