"How many witnesses do you need to see some shit before you arrest somebody?"
Chris Rock.

While the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur has remained officially unsolved since 1996 there has always been one primary suspect in the murder.

Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson. The Crip gang member the rapper assaulted immediately prior to the shooting.

While Anderson-for obvious reasons-denied his guilt in public-informants repeatedly told the LAPD that he actually boasted of the murder-to the point where others in the gang had to tell him to be more discrete.

In the mid 2000's Anderson's Uncle confessed that the gang was indeed responsible-and that Anderson was in fact the shooter.
Of course by the time that confession came Anderson was dead.

Shakur's mother even tried to sue Anderson for having murdered her son.

If anyone-guilty or not-was going to be charged with the murder of Tupac Shakur that man was undoubtedly Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson.

Regardless of the verdict-what would be the pop cultural impact of Anderson's arrest and trial had he actually been charged with the murder?
