The Sons of Burgundy

The Sons of Burgundy

Cham Migration
On 1455, a group of Chams migrated to the Manila Bay and that was at the reign of Lakan Alon, the religion of Islam spread like wildfire from the migrants that proselytized their religion in the basins of Kagayan river and the Pampanga river as well as but it was not yet the religion of the royalty there, the religion would be official a few generations after Alon because of the religious change but the relationship between Tondo and Majapahit deteriorated and pulled it to the orbit of Malacca.

For that reason Lakan Alon decided to welcome more Chams because they contribute in making the people of their land more united, the Chams resettle near Kawit in the region of Kumintang[1].

Note:
In this timeline, the term Tagalog would not have linguistic connotations but the term means Luzonians and also those who are subject to the Lakan, the people in Luzon are syncretic aside from being Muslims they also revere their Lakan as the Son of Heaven, the highlanders in Cordillera and Minolo(OTL Mindoro) except for Isnag and Ibalois remain pagans.

[1]The Spanish speaking christians from Ternate in the Moluccas area migrated to Cavite but in this timeline it is Chams that Migrate who get assimilated Linguistically by the Common Tagalog Language, whose OTL equivalent is Kapampangan, Sinaunang Tagalog and Gaddang/Cagayan, those three languages merge into one language in this TL due to their similarity, that is a spoiler for you.

Question:Will you ever finish your other timelines?

The Timeline I am really planning to do is the Premyslid Century that is the timeline that will be fully fleshed by me but this timeline also have a potential like I did in King of Poland in Silesia that was finished and very fun, I drop my TLs because I need to mind many butterflies and I need to drop many of my goals in those timelines - something I don't like but lack of good comments are also a factor, but I am planning to do an age of exploration timeline, and looking for a good POD that is why I am posting many scenarios and one of the candidates will stick.

Isabella of Castile
Through the medium of the Queen and Count of Ledesma, a Portuguese alliance was made. Isabella, however, was wary of the marriage and refused to consent, she had two choices, Nicholas of Anjou or Alfonso V of Portugal, due to the fact that the marriage would likely happen, the betrothal between Henry IV’s daughter Joanna and John of Portugal pushed through although there are allegations of bastardy at Joanna’s part.

For Isabella, she chose to marry where her heart lies, she escaped Castile and married the Duke of Anjou, Nicholas since he is the rival claimant to the throne of Aragon, she married the Duke of Anjou in 1469 after escaping her brother.

For Isabella, the wedding was a disaster because the groom died days after his wedding, another man came for her and his name is Edward of Lancaster, the son of Margaret of Anjou, she married Edward of Lancaster because she fell in love with him.

Aragonese War of Succession and the betrayal of Mary of Burgundy
John II of Aragon dies on 1478 and the Aragonese throne becomes a battle between Gaston of Navarre and Henry of Aragon[1], duke of Villena, having Gaston of Foix succeed in the throne of Aragon and Navarre or for the duke of Villena to succeed, Louis the Spider found that the Foix inheriting Aragon is a dangerous possibility for him because Foix and Bearn would end up under Aragonese rule annulling the treaty of Corbeil.

Louis the Spider will support Gaston on one condition and that is if his daughter Catherine of Foix will marry his son and all his french possessions will be a dowry for Catherine, if not he will support Henry of Villena instead and his possessions confiscated and in exchange Francis Phoebus will marry Joan of France[2].

The orphan heiress, Mary developed genuine affection for Charles. However, due to the decision of Louis the Spider of France, he repudiated his betrothal and married Catherine of Navarre, for political reasons. The French court had ceased treating Mary as queen early in 1479. Mary was not returned to her stepmother's court until June 1481. Mary was hurt by Charles's action and was left with a feeling of enduring resentment towards France, she married Maximilian of Austria, the heir of the Holy Roman Empire.

A few months after the marriage between Catherine of Foix with Dauphin of France, Henry, duke of Villena is found dead due to mysterious circumstances and Gaston is crowned King on the latter part of 1479[2].

1.Eleanor of Navarre dies before her son.
2. She is not barren in this TL.
3.Louis the Spider poisoned Henry, duke of Villena.

I came to reclaim my heritage part I
The marriage between Edward of Westminster and Isabella of Castille was said to be sweet and a son would make her, she is blessed to have a son in 1471, the name of the son is Henry, named after her brother, while they were celebrating the birth of a son, Alfonso, Crown Prince of Portugal is married to Joanna of Castile.

Children of Isabella and Edward
-Henry of Lancaster - 1471
-Rene of Lancaster - 1473
-Isabella of Lancaster - 1478

Edward of Westminster went to England on 1480 and went to war against the King of England and went to war against the unknown, for him winning the throne was enough, meanwhile while Edward was battling Isabella betrothed Rene of Lancaster to Anne of Brittany, in order to gain Breton support in the war against France.

I came to reclaim my father’s inheritance part 2
Edward IV annulled his marriage with Elisabeth Woodville in order to gain support against France due to their support with the Lancastrians causing Elisabeth of York to be seen as an illegitimate daughter or a bastard.

Edward IV sought the hands of two maidens, Mary of Burgundy and Bona of Savoy, for him Bona of Savoy was his choice and so he married her and they had children.

The Children of Edward IV
-Bonna of England b. 1472
-Catherine of England b. 1476

The war became of Edward of Westminister’s favor who was crowned as Edward IV and Edward of York was treated as an usurper and his son became betrothed to Bonna of York, this is just said to be the beginning of something else as Edward of Westminister said.

Vladislaus II of Bohemia and the Polish Silesians
In the name of his daughter, Albrecht III Achilles appointed Otto von Schenk as provincial administrator. Nine months later, the twelve-year-old Dowager Duchess of Głogów and Crossen was married again, this time to King Vladislaus II of Bohemia, who wanted to annex Głogów to his domains. The wedding, performed per procurationem (by proxy), took place in the city of Frankfurt an der Oder on 20 August 1476.

Vladislaus II of Bohemia chose to actually, defend his wife Barbara against his enemies and protect the land that would revert to the crown, the marriage would mean good relations between Brandenburg and Bohemia.

On this time the Polish Literature in Silesia started to flourish again because of the prints made by Kasper Elyan and due to this, the King of Bohemia noticed this revival and declared equal rights for the Poles in Silesia decades later which helped the new movement.
