Prologue
The History of Germany is rich of struggles and triumphs beyond the wildest beliefs. The Greatest Nation in the world had a rough upcoming that it overcame with Italian and Iberian help. Our nation’s struggles our often forgotten such as The War of Breton Succession [2], The Polish war of rebirth [3], The Sicilian war [4], and The War of the Dutch Pragmatic Sanction [5]. Our nation still is strong and has endured. Though many people forget the history of our nation.
Surprisingly, long ago our nation was a bunch of tribes east of the Rhine, but now our empire expands on all continents excluding Antarctica. Many have correctly stated that had Rudolf the Bold [6] not created the kingdom of Pruthenia [7] and conquer Pomerania, the modern German nation would’ve never came into being. His decisive action at the battle of Gdansk, Danzig’s name before Rudolf conquered it from a rival tribe 776 AD, where he defeated the Pomeranian armies 784 AD has been marked as the one point of no return where, had he lost, Germany would remain disunited for many more centuries.
“
When I look at Berlin today, I think ‘God, what would Rudolf think of us?’ and I always arrive at the same conclusion; That he would be proud of his decedents who have proven themselves to be a great people. Germany has risen above all crises and is now the leading nation for peace and prosperity. May Germany live forever!” –
Angela Merkel (1954 -), former German chancellor (2005-2013) and current German Prime Minister (2014-), speaking to a crowd outside of the Rudolf statue in Royal Eagle square in Berlin as a rally for Re-election on July 5, 2018.
Another Interesting Fact was that German unification was a joint effort, a joint effort between the Saxons and the Iberians after Andrew I united them into the Ibero-Saxon Empire when his father King Otto III of Saxony died. Had it not been for that empire, the German empire would’ve have a harder time getting off its feet and making a name for itself. The names of our heroes have been forgotten as they had one day hoped someone would tell their story; and so someone has agreed to tell it correctly.
In between these two covers is the detailed history of how the people of Germany overcame their Barbarian nature and soon rose to prominence as the world’s grandest power. Germany’s struggles will be revealed to you by personal accounts of those that lived, ruled, and died during that time for above all else Germany’s story must be told. For if the story isn’t told, who will know of those that allowed the nation to become the power it is today. Beginning with Rudolf the bold, we shall also tell the story of the monarchs who gave this nation their blood sweat and tears to help it surpass each struggle as well as carefully analyze each struggle carefully. Welcome to The Sky Is The Limit For Germany.

Boom, the prologue for my first timeline is done. The reason for this being short is because of High school and writers block (my two worst enemies, No!!!) anyways, what do you think so far? Also, if anything were to happen to me while doing this TL, say I get banned for a dumb reason, then I pass this TL’s responsibility to the one, the only, ERNGE. Though I haven’t talked to him about it, If something were to happen to me here I will give it to him as I have the upmost confidence for him to finish it.
[1] – Yes this is a made-up sibling of Monica Lewensky (who still does it with Bill, don’t worry.) I put him in because I felt that this could separate him from his skank of a sister in the future.
[2] – TTL’s German intervention in hundred years war
[3] – TTL’s War of Austrian succession
[4] – TTL’s seven years’ war
[5] – TTL’s Belgian war of independence
[6] – Since we know surprisingly little of Pruthenia and its tribal chieftains, I have made this guy as an Original character.
[7] – TTL’s Prussia
