Yep. SoJ was practically handed by history all these chances, but passed on literally all of them. They were lucky History even gave them Kalinske, honestly. When he tried to help them though, they swiftly shut him down. He was smart enough to abandon ship though when he saw their B.S. adding up.

SoJ got what it wanted, they beat Nintendo in Japan, yes, but it was at such a high price. They lost America and Europe. They weren't even really winning Japan, they were just beating Nintendo, not Sony.

Funny, I actually have thought about things like Sonic 1/2 ported on the CD with updated soundtrack, Sonic 3 Complete on the CD, and the like. Maybe "Sonic Movie Maker" could be a real thing and maybe other Sonic games to rival Mario's many spin-offs. But those are just ideas. I'm unsure how to write the games into the timeline right now. Most of the Pre-Saturn ones will probably be released as per OTL save the 32X ones which either are on the CD or saved for Saturn.

And yeah, I'm writing it right now actually. I might have gotten some facts wrong regarding some of the naming and timing but I don't think it's too much major stuff. At least I hope so. I might have it ready soon.
Yeah Just Kalisnke was a mega bless and he did helped make SEGA and specially Sonic in Household Names,a shame what happeend OTL but at least the remember his years with SEGA Fondly Even with all corporate Rivalty and etc.

Ironically they Lost the rest of world, N64 Become a phenomenon in USA and Europe, heck N64 pretty Profitable and a lot of his games were still discussed as classic. So as say in my own TL, they win partly and loss everything...

Those are Similar to some Ideas i've too, we decided to shake up and spice some things(I'm Inviting you to read Rysenkari and Mine TL Player Two Start Alongside his sequel...Massive Multiplayer, read will found pretty good, funny and informative). Almost all 32X were easily Feasible in Vanilla SEGA Except Doom and both Virtua Games...and all those should have been Saved for Saturn Anyway, so yeah, decied what to do.

Yeah, tell me when ready, seems will be pretty good.

Indeed he was. He is probably why we still have a Sonic fanbase to this day to a large extent. You could say in some ways his presence is still felt even though he's been long gone for a while now. Without him Sega would've probably gone outright bankrupt at the Genesis/Mega Drive and there wouldn't even be a Saturn. Or at least no Dreamcast. They would've never breached America so well and so when SoJ's idiocy starts rearing it's ugly head they lose even more than OTL without Kalinske. What's nice to note too is that Sega was basically always Nintendo's rival. They had consoles even back in 1983-1984, the SG-1000's. So really, Sega & Nintendo were at it from Day 1. Until 2001, of course. But even before the discontinuation of the Dreamcast it was clear the end was nigh.

And yeah, those ideas sound good. It's a shame the Saturn flopped as hard as it did IOTL. But in a way even my alt-Saturn is not really fully like our Saturn so....yeah. Also yeah, I'm having your TL up on a tab already, pretty good so far! I like how it's written.

It's going pretty well. I'm thinking the Saturn's Japanese launch can be the PS1's (December 3 1994), unsure about it's pricing though. That would probably be a massive debate between SoJ & Sony for sure. The SoJ probably really will think Sega's headed for some massive apocolypse or some B.S. like that. I mean, it's really no wonder the Master System failed with their marketing. Better tech doesn't mean much when your company's leadership is constructed entirely of complete idiots who almost outright refuse intelligent decision making. I wonder how the SoJ board even got their jobs. It's like they literally just spawned into existence with them....
