The U.S. government becomes ocrrupt, riots and protest start popping up around the nation until the rioters start shooting at the homeland security forces thus escalating the riots into a revolution. States in the West like California, Nevada, North/South Dakota, Nebraska etc. join these revolutionaries, some northern states even join in, therefor seperating the nation into two seperate United States. However a few months into the revolution, several people start realizing these revolutionaries are actually just Democrats fighting for an all Democratic government, so a few Northern states along with Alaska form a new faction which is pro-Republican. Several years into the revolution, the actual government becomes fragile and dismantles itself from the inside. The 2 Democratic and Republican factions rush to take the land which the U.S. government formerly occupied. This creates more bloodshed and ultimately stays in a stalemate when both factions attempt to occupy Florida. The revolution has now turned into a civil war. In order to weaken the Democratic faction, the Republican faction drops several atomic bombs in the Democratic-occupied area of Florida, however, this does more harm than help. The fallout from the blast causes a portion of Florida to become irradiated. This slows down the occupation of Florida for both the Democratic and Republican faction. After a hard fought battle, the Republicans end up winning Florida, the Democratic faction gets the keep a portion of Florida. The Republican faction uses Alaska as a base platform to invade Sacramento D-Day style. These invasion fail however and end up angering the Democratic faction and set up a full-scale invasion. The Republicans get word of this and use their intelligence unit to pin-point possible attack spots. However, their intelligence unit pin-point totally inaccurate spots and ultimately end up losing 10% of their land.

I didn’t really do much research, this just came into mind a few days ago. Keep in mind this is my first thread.
