Well, if this case ends with a lynching, another case will establish the right to legal counselhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottsboro_Boys#cite_note-0 for all races, but the legal precedent obvioulsy did not make a much of a difference. Lynchings continued well past the 1930´s, because existing laws were not enforced when the victims were black. As long as that does not change different laws make no difference.
