The reunification of London, 20 Years on.

Finally I've finished writing some more related to this timeline. I'll start writing the next "source" soonish

30th April 1918
This morning, Mr Clynes and the Prime Minister went on the radio to announce their plans to the world. His Majesty the King has agreed to abdicate. Mr Clynes will assume the office of President and Prime Minister until democratic elections for both the office of President and what he called “A British Senate” can be held. This would form the upper house of parliament, replacing the Lords.

Whilst watching them conduct this broadcast I kept reminding myself that it was a neccesity to bring peace back to Britain. I hope the people accept these changes.

Did Britain have Radio before 1922 (when the British Broadcasting Company (forerunner to the BBC) was founded)? This seems to predates WWJ and KDKA by 2 years (both went on in 1920), and in Britain, with 2MT and 2LO (both did not transmit until 1922).

Total brain fail on my party.

I'll edit it to replace radio with speech to the press.
