So I checked the Omniatlas map for 20 June 1837 (the closest date available to your map) and it says the two were Ottoman vassals with a Russian military presence.

As I am correctly working on my new TL, I will making a 1356 map (the year of the Golden Bull of 1356)
Which colour scheme should I use?

We are using Drex's CS, i used it at least for the big and medium states and those really small i just picked a random color.

So this is just a suggestion, but I think we should change the colors for Germany and Italy to their original color, and change the French State color.

Also, starting tomorrow the repository is undergoing a major overhaul since the image limit of 20 has been reached.
