I've noticed, portions of some national borders are still on the blank map - Argentina-Chile, Malaysia-Indonesia, and PNG-Indonesia.

Also, part of the coast of New Guinea is missing.

I'll take 1975, 1989, and 1991 since there isn't that many changes overall.

i don't really have the software to do much other than fix historical inaccuracies, but i'll do what i can

I mean, looking over the premise of this thread, I actually do think that the the QBAM is the ideal size for a normal easy-to-use basemap.

That being said, I also have an interest in ensuring that a set of remotely correct Chinese internals become standard for at least this project, so I am entirely willing to work on that for you.

Yes, but not dry lakes.

Stop. You should be guided not by the Lachin corridor, but by the Azerbaijan treaty line 1994 as the border for 2000.
