The postal votes arrive sooner and Chris Huhne becomes Liberal Democrat leader in 2007

In the 2007 Liberal Democrat leadership election, the true winner was, actually, Chris Huhne but about 1300 postal votes got caught up in the Christmas post and missed the election deadline, turning the election to Nick Clegg. What if the votes had arrived sooner and Chris Huhne became Liberal Democrat party leader? How would this affect UK politics? Do you agree with the scenario in https://www.markpack.org.uk/153709/nick-clegg-chris-huhne-ldn-108/, or not?

Aside from the chicken jokes?
Why did the LibDem cross the road?
Ah, the LibDems are so chicken hearted, they elected one as leader.
Keep your pecker up!
Etc.

I Agree With Chris just doesn't look possible.
It is possible, depending on how those butterflies flap their wings, that the scandals surrounding Huhne's love life and speeding lies erupt around election time in 2010.
