The Perot Presidency and party

According to you, if Perot had managed to win the 1992 presidential election, would he have managed to constitute a political base, recruiting Governors, Senators and Representatives? Which prominent politicians of these times would have joined his new party (Reform or else, I don't know)? What would have been its stance: social moderate, liberal or conservative? But at least fiscal conservative. Which prominent people would have joined the Perot party: nowadays prominent politicians, but also famous people like actors and else... Thank you for sharing my brainstorming.

He will not really have a coherent political party. The Reform Party is kind of a dumping ground for people like him and Pat Buchanan and as I understand it is pretty small, not as well funded as the Twins and has alot of internal divisions.

He could have won in certain circumstances. But his presidency would have probably entailed him in some kind of deadlock with both of the main parties in the legislature a good deal of the time as many of his policies would have pissed off both Republicans and Democrats.
