The People's Sea Lion

If someone can explain to me how to get this moved to the sealion sticky master thread I would greatly appreciate it. Not trying to gum up the main list of threads. Anyway, here goes:

WI: In the early 30s germany goes communist in the wake of the great depression pushing its economy deep into the abyss. The communists either win through an election (even though from what i hear they didn't actually have that good of a chance in 1933) or through strife and revolution. By 1934 at the latest, germany is red. Over the rest of the 30s germany and the soviet union bolster one another economically and militarily. The spanish civil war breaks out in a manner roughly similar to ours and both germany and the soviet union back the republicans against Italy and others. The switch of support by Germany from OTL to the republicans results in a very left leaning socialist Spain that aligns with Germany and the USSR. By the end of the 30s, some little war somewhere in central europe explodes and drags in Germany and/ or the USSR. After many grueling months of fighting, most of central europe has become a constellation of red satellites. An election in a further west european country appears to be heading towards a socialist victory and yet another red state. The powers that be pull a few strings though and the traditional political forces inch by the red parties. The public, along with the governments of Germany and the USSR cry foul. Germany, the USSR, Spain, and the rest of the red bloc begin threatening "liberation" if the election is not reheld. The major western powers, France and Britain, draw a line fearing a red takeover of europe. The red forces invade the tiny country in question triggering declarations of war in Paris and London. Fascist Italy joins the allies. Alt WW2 is now essentially the capitalist/ fascist allies versus the COMINTERN. The communists steamroll over mainland europe. Now... the question arises... might this european red juggernaut, powered by both the soviet and german economies, be able to... to... ..... ...invade britain?

A steamrolling of the continent is a little dubious as many of the General who planned the OTL German campaign will be dismissed soon after the communist taking power as Prussian conservative noble don't mesh well with communist; second Adolf was seen as a bulkwark against communism but a communist Germany will be seen as a menace immediately so it will be more difficult his rearming.
A general war between communist and capitalist in Europe will be a messy thing and frankly not really clear cut.
France will be plagued by internal communist dissent; Spain will be a wreck after the civil war (and the intercine warfare between the victorious faction) it will be of very limited military capacity. Germany and URSS will probably not be very friendly as Stalin really don't like competition on communist leadership and frankly the winter war really showed that the purge greatly weakened the Red Army.
Germany will face a two front-war (France plus Italy) if she is quick enough to knock out Poland and frankly without a big enough (aka economy wreacking) program to rebuild the navy a Sealion is impossible
