On 1370's a Christian on China named Liao was inspired to improve the situation of Christians in China, he has convinced many people about his plan.

His plan was to evacuate as many as possible Nestorians from China as well as some mongols to a new land, the land which was called as the Island of Women, which is natively known as Tapangga[1], the land full of barbarian tribes that kill each other.

Liao and his people were able to land their ship in Tapangga and seen the savage tribes in Tapangga who were quite accomodating and some of the tribes found the ways of the new settlers very nice compared to their own traditions, so they followed the traditions of the new settlers from the opposite side of the coast, the people of Tapangga were also feeling that the people that settled from the opposite coast would be a threat to their culture.
After 20 years on 1400 and that caused a change to the people in Tapangga and the Island started to attract Mongolian settlers causing the people of Tapangga to be more diverse as the years go by..

Some Mongols migrated to Tapangga at the new settlement created by Liao, causing the population of the Tapanggan settlement to increase, however they are at the mercy of the Japanese Pirates and the Hostile tribes surrounding them, the people of Irraya know about the new settlement as well and want to make good relations with them causing Tapangga settlement to be a popular stop between Bashi(Irraya), Ryukyu and Japan, this refugia would be known to be a safe haven for the Nestorians who want to be free of persecution from the Ming and the Mongols who are becoming less and less tolerant of the Nestorians as the years go by causing the Christians on the Northern Yuan dynasty to also migrate to this island, it was known that this island is the bastion of Nestorian Christianity on East Asia.

This bastion is not known by anyone on the higher positions of Yuan not even the Emperor of the Ming China, however, the Wokou did know about this secret place where the Nestorian Christians did hide but it is not significant and the settlement is not a threat to anyone outside Tapangga.
