I am thinking of a total different premise here. The civil war destroys the Republic of China, and a Chinese Empire takes place in 1932. Meanwhile in Japan, a revolution takes place when protests are condemning the actions of plans to invade Manchuria. A civil war takes place turning Japan into a Republic in 1934. Then in 1935, China declares war upon Japan. In 1937, a US Task Force of the Arizona, 2 Cruisers, and 3 destroyers are attacked by Chinese aircraft, sinking the Arizona. War is declared upon the act of destruction. Also Note: The Washington Naval Treaty is stopped in the US in 1930, when the Chinese Imperialist seem to be winning. So the US has a larger Navy, mostly in cruisers and destroyers, with some battleships, and 3 carriers, the Bering Strait (Lexington Class), Wilson (Yorktown Class), and the Roosevelt (Yorktown Class). A massive naval carrier is under construction at Newport. It is known as the USS Columbia, a joint USN and USAAC carrier. It was done with the intent of having an ability to hold certain areas with limited air support. The US also has a battleship class called the Havana Class. They have 4 18" turrets. Theres two, the Havana and Australia.
Also I'm planning to do a series of five books, three set in different regions during World War II. It will be from 1937-1963, with Nazi Germany and the US in a Cold War. The USSR has been taken by both the US and USSR. Help would be appreciated.
