About 15 years ago a lot of my AH books were destroyed when when some shits broke into the place where my stuff was being stored. Among them was a paperback, THE OCCUPATION. Unusually, no author was credited. It's about life in German occupied England. I got the impression that it was the work of someone who'd never written a novel before but was quite familiar with the British cultural scene. Apart from the fact that it was first published by Blond in London in 1960, I haven't been able to find out anything else about it on the internet. It's unlikely, but I'd be very grateful if anyone had any further information on this book.
