The no Hitler timeline - What would it have been?

Now, I'm not saying a timeline with no Hitler is definitely going to result in Communist Germany and the Soviet Union taking over the world or whatever. This is just one possible scenario. It depends on way too many factors to predict. For all we know, some other Hitler analogue would've come and rose the Nazi party to the mainstream.

You really shouldn't have bothered with everything up to then (and why/how would a 100,000 strong professional army led by Junkers be overthown by a group you admit were nothing but street fighters?)

Anyway, even if Hitler and the NSDAP had never come into being the hard Right had the ability to mobilise just as many street fighters as the communists.

And the freikorps would fight on behalf of the Reichswehr and the police if the government forces looked at risk of losing (they'd done it before).

Germany would get an unpleasant right wing dictatorship. It might well be a bit anti semitic but it would not have been as crazy evil as Hitler and the Nazis.

I forsee some issues around Danzig and maybe Anschluss- but the military would NOT want a war.

I think that evil thought Stalin was he was not a crazy gambler. He would not have invaded Poland, I suspect he might also have left the Baltic states alone without the special circumstances of OTL's 1939-40

Query what happens in the Pacific. None of this in itself stops Japan going the way it went. I kind of doubt they would have deliberatly have taken on the British and the Dutch in normal circumstances.

Would Imperial Japan have found people to sell it the stuff it wanted- I rather suspect the answer is yes (maybe Britain, maybe the Netherlands maybe Stalin) I fear that tthe war with China goes on and lots of people look on ashamed but nobody actually goes to war.
