The New Order: Last Days of Europe Thread II

Just some thoughts on this:

I don't remember if it was posted on the old TNO thread, or over on the sub-Reddit, but I do recall someone commenting that one of the concepts that TNO had deconstructed was that 'Only crazy people are evil'. On a similar vein, I honestly don't mind the idea of TNO Sablin always being a wholesome and morally upstanding person at his core, since thematically, he can be used to deconstruct/examine yet another common trope: That only bad people end up becoming tyrants. Or that the only problem with dictatorships is that you cannot get the right person in power.

So, with Sablin, if I am in charge of a rework and rewrite, the theme of the story arc would be him being a genuinely idealistic, incorruptible, and all around wholesome guy that is also an aspiring communist dictator that idolizes Lenin, having 'drank the kool aid' ideologically, so to speak. With his character development being an examination on the question on if such a thing as a wholesome Leninist dictator exist (Answer: NO). With Sablin having to make a choice on if he is going to stop being wholesome, or stop being a Leninist.
It was me, I talked about how Malenkov feels the pain of the common man and how Ian Kershaw begins his book by humanising Hitler showing him as someone who loves Eva and likes vinyl discs.

I also said that the "consensus" at the time of WWII was that Hitler and others were evil and this would never happen on a sane democratic country, and it was exactly this that enabled the model citizens to do this kind of thing.

I found Ernst Busch singing Geyers Schwarzer Haufen.
I wonder if German underground leftist movement would use it. While Nazi use it DDR also use it as well, plus it could be view as some sort of proto-socialist music (being about peasant rebellion and all). Perhaps leftist in Germany just adopt this song since it is common enough for people to know and it can be view as leftist music (if you try enough).

Every brazilian know this man, he's like part of our national cultural patrimony

ConDem Novosibirsk is my canon unifier and one of the better ones. It is democratic, and a sheer economic/military powerhouse. I’ve seen a whole lot of people say ‘democracy could weaken Russia’, and this disproves a already flawed idea.

Otherwise, democratic Komi.

‘democracy could weaken Russia’,
Ah, yes, famously successful and efficient undemocratic countries like checks notes Imperial Japan, the last days of Tsarist Russia, the Late Qing, North Korea, ISIS, Taliban Afghanistan, the Third Reich, the military superpower that is Fascist Italy...

I never got that argument.

On that note, I would say that Dmitri Yazov's Russian National Reclamation Government is an overrated faction with Batov's insurgency and how their leaders were largely KGB officers as opposed to being part of the regular military IOTL.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Comrades and matryoskas
Normal people and those who out pineapples on pizza

CSS is about to launch its demo, any questions before it?

Here some info:
It only covers Brazil for now,
There are events about events in other countries.
Argentina start with their initial screen for the full release, all national spirits, just like Cuba and others.
Yes Paraguay is fascist, you are lucky for it not being Natsoc, there was this Paraguayan officer who said during the war "I'm a hundred percent in favour with anything Adolph Hitler does".
There are tons of events, from political to cultural to flavour ones
The possible Brazilian presidents are João Goulart, Adhemar de Barros, Juscelino Kubitschek, Carlos Lacerda, Jânio Quadros, Ranieri Mazzili (cannot stay for long), Auro de Moura Andrade and Castello Branco.
You can make the military coup but not end democracy, as it was the original plan.
All routes are made on the most unbiased way possible, with every point of view being valid depending of someone's mindset and will drive Brazil towards their own interpretation of progress.
Brazil is a bit better than OTL at the game start.
The favourite president of the team is Adhemar de Barros, as his route has some... Bittersweet stuff.
You cannot declare war on Paraguay or Uruguay.
You cannot restore the monarchy sadly.
You cannot elect the integralists in 1965, just 1970, so not in the demo, but they show up.
Wilson Late Passos is on the demo.

Can I ask? Which president is the most blessed path for Brazil? Will Brazil join OFN?

How many years of content does Brazil have?

How many years of content does Brazil have?

There are four years of content

About who is the most blessed, it depends of what you think it's blessed, tell me what kind of route you like and I reply
And Brazil can join the OFN, but it is option and reserved for Lacerda one, others want Brazil to make his own block
