Werbell's Magadan seriously reminds me of Big Boss' Outer Heaven from the Metal Gear Solid Universe.

Also, spoilers it looks like there's more to Heydrich than what we thought or what the devs told us.

WerBell is the ONLY time I’ve seen a defeated Father choose not to forgive or make some sort of at least stoic remark. The Father views him as past saving, perhaps because of his literal mercenary views, irreligiousness, etc.. Father remains my favorite unifier, but this scene was just so unique that it pushed WerBell to the second spot.

Also, the music mod, by chance, started playing FORTUNATE SON when the event for WerBell unifying Eastern Siberia fired and I nearly burst out laughing.

Thank you for specifying, but a little context? A flavor event or something?
You know how everyone questioned why Heydrich was basically Himmler's hand puppet. Well he's actually super not. He's actively trying to stop Himmler's plans. He can be successful. But well, let's just say it's not a remotely fun experience for him.

Ok.... So it would appear that after the last update, my computer is once again having serious problems running HOI4 with TNO enabled. So, for anyone here that are able to run the game without too much problems, can you guys please give those of us that couldn't play the mod a basic rundown on the full path for Heydrich's Germany?

You know what happens during the civil war so lets start from the new content.
Heydrich gets a secret message from Himmler where he revels his plan and orders him to begin preparations.
Heydrich thinks this is madness and beggins conspiring against Himmler with his cabinet and loyaal elements of the SS.
Then there is a Spidel based military uprising in Pomerania and a slave revolt in Prussia, easy enough tho(NO).
After that Himmler finds out you want to betray him and thus begins the SS civil war, where you lose control of everything but Germania and need to assemble a coalition of SS,Militarists(You also need to secure the nukes in there states),Reichskommissariat and Reformists(And slaves if you want to deal with the rebellion) via decisions and the focus tree.
Then a final war against Himmler's coalition happens.
At the end of it all Heydrich in a kind of redemption moment kills Himmler and then commits suicide leading into a new civil war.

It isn’t redemption; Germany is falling apart at the seams, and Heydrich realizes his quest for “utopia” was all for naught, and he’s ruined the future of Germany.

Less of a “my god everything I did was bad” and more “my god, now the Burgundian system with my characteristics can’t flourish”

Wait why does he kill himself too instead of just taking power? Himmler was his most dangerous opponent.

Not having to worry about the AI ending your game early by Diplomatic Spat popped out the most, if only because I didn't believe something like that would have been implemented.
The ironic thing about this is that my very first game in the new patch was...ended by the U.S. and Japan launching World War III (okay, no nukes had flown, yet, but they obviously were going to start soon). And I was in the middle of crushing Yagoda as the Bastillards, too!

Heydrich loses his spartanist ideological convictions as he is forced to negotiate with moderates, slaves, and others he sees as degenerate. He starts heavily drinking and smoking over the course of his focus tree and becomes disillusioned with National Socialism and the SS due to their insane warlord behavior (ex: Sepp Dietrich going insane and declaring himself Duke of Bavaria, Eichmann trying to restart the final solution in Prussia). At the end even his family refuses to acknowledge him and he commits suicide due to his entire worldview crumbling in front of his eyes, leading to the 3rd German Civil War.

I still haven't gotten to see the WW3 events etc.....

People, you need to send me your bad TNO luck...

May Burgundian Komi, Omsk, Stepanov's SBA, and WerBell's Magadan be your Russian unifiers.
May every shrimp boat be rammed and sunk, and may every spying incident lead to war.
May segregationists make life in the Land of the Free a living hell, and may Iberia make our world's Yugoslav Wars look like a petty dispute.
May Italy suffer more than any other country during the Oil Crisis.

If TNO were a play called Macbeth, I would say "Good Luck", and send you on stage,

Go get 'em, @Shock. :) But do be warned of the consequences of these actions.

I wouldn't include Werbell as he actually isn't the worst Siberian re-unifer, especially if you do his Cincinnatus path (allowing opposition parties, integrating local politicians into the Government, opening Siberia to trade with the OFN,) and develop Siberia instead of selling out the entire resource economy to the Americans. He's honestly a more corrupt, non-Russian Batov with a stratocratic democracy and his mercenaries can turn the tide in numerous proxy conflicts against the Germans/Italians/Japanese. Caesar Werbell is much worse, where he ends up as a more unstable Okhtan-esque plutocrat warlord.

I would argue Matkovsky, Yagoda, the Nazis in Amur, Authoritarian Sablin, White Army Chita and the Father are all worse. Only Authdem Chita, pure-hearted Sablin, and Petlin are unambiguously better imo

I didn't play as him myself yet, but from what I see, Shukshin in charge of the federation seems like a better choice too.
The federation is not exactly near Magadan but is called ''the central federation of Siberia'' if it reaches the regional stage.

I was just talking about the Werbell within Far East Unifiers, but yeah, Shukshin is one of the best ends for Russia imo. Novosibirsk got some of the best new content in this update

I definitely should have said something about the Russian Nazis instead, but I edit waaay too many of my messages on this site so I'll let it stand. But how is The Father worse? I know he's big on religion and he probably wouldn't lead the strongest Russia possible given the difficulty in re-unification and the lack of a nuclear development tree for the Divine Mandate, and I know gay rights aren't the highest priority of the Divine Mandate, but I'm probably missing something.

The Father is essentially ruling as an enlightened despot and has no defined successor and an incredibly unstable government. In his focus tree Men has to defuse a military coup or he enters into a failstate, and a reunified Russia full of officers and bureaucrats with no particular loyalty to Men's ideology is going to see those problems amplified after the charismatic autocrat on top dies or gets assassinated.

In addition, a pacifist Russia in the world of TNOmod is likely a dead or puppet Russia, especially when dealing with Goering. No nuclear deterrent means Men's Divine Mandate is either beholden to the OFN for protection or defenceless against Nazi aggression.
