I basically ignore the idea of “canon” in this mod, so I could care less who the devs decided on.

I mean Magadan does receive US support. That and the amount of equipment and weapons the US generously provide to Magadan helps a lot.

eh, i mean, that Einstein quote about how "Nationalism is the measles of mankind" felt really generic, and could have applied to a whole host of other bad unifiers who are nationalistic in one way or the other (Amur, Fascist Komi, Omsk, Ordosocialists, Hyperborea, Tabby) and it didn't seem to especially befit Gumilyov, considering that, in his own way, he is transcending nationalism through his Eurasian ideology, that is inclusive of a wide array of ethnicities, from Ukrainians to Mongols.

Likewise here. Nationalism is a disease, Einstein says, with the implication that we should combat and defeat it...and Gumilyov does so by introducing super-nationalism, which is not at all what Einstein would have wanted.

Tangent, but the KMT in Taiwan kept power using these methods rather than just the executions and forced labor alone.
I'm pretty sure that Putin's russia is like that too, and the Long-led USA in KR is probably like that too
