Not entirely no, it will be a larger war over different circumstances, but admittedly around about that time period yesThis will be capped with an Anglo-French War over Fashoda, won't it?
Rule by strength. Basically might makes right.Kratocracy.
Rule by Rulers.
!?!?!?
The Continent versus Britain is an under-explored idea. This is really cool. My feeling that Boulanger making France a sticking-up-nail will mean that the UK hammers them down within a generation.
Either that, or a less complacent Germany courts France and this results in a France, Germany, Russia and possibly US anti-UK alliance that results in the British Empire being the one that's hammered down. Britain got darn lucky in OTL.
Either way, I predict a MUCH happier 20th Century for Germany, and probably Eastern Europe too.

The Ottomans and the Italians are not very useful allies in that era...For sure. It is amazing to me how close the British came to provoking a pretty formidable alliance against them. Britain got pretty lucky in the generation between 1890 and 1914 in OTL.
Though the British might have been able to get the Ottomans and the Italians on their side if they had a strong enough hand... So "Continent versus Britain" might not be the best way to look at such a war.

Thanks! I really appreciate it.I really love this TL, you have all my interest for the rest of your story.
I have a small question about the restored monarchy
In which palace the royal family is installed? The Tuileries palace was destroyed during the Paris Commune episode in 1871. Did Philippe VII bring the court back to Versailles?
