The naming of Princess Louise

In Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Lady Colin Campbell wrote:
the splendidly named Princess Royal, Princess Louise, Duchess of Fife
Louise was named after her paternal aunt and godmother Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll.

Was not the eldest daughter of Edward VII and Alexandra named after Alexandra's mother, Queen Louise of Denmark?

On Yvonne's Royalty Home Page it mentioned:
When the Prince and Princess of Wales's third child was born in 1867, she (Queen Victoria) told them to name their infant daughter after her. The parents had already made their choice, and would not budge, and named their daughter Louise after the Princess of Wales's mother.
