It's an online novel project whose print version is coming out sometime in late April, based on what I read today on Tor.com.

Basically a bunch of warrior monks make their way east to assassinate the Great Khan. I thought it was AH due to comments about the Mongols menacing Paris and Rome, but it looks more "secret history" than AH.

What do you all think?

Facebook keeps giving me ads for it. I recognized a couple of the authors, including Neal Stephenson, whose books I usually enjoy, but when I started reading the first chapter, it didn't really grab me.
