The Directorate of the Midwest
Today, December 30 2010 marks the day of unrecognized independence of the Midwest Directory. Residing in the city of Noblesville, Indiana the directory is a nation ruled under Director and Chief, Kory Thomas Krebs. The Directory is a Directorial-Technocratic state. The body of administration being "The Lot
Board Of Control" It's main task being the looking after the well being of the Directorate's citizens and the resources of the lot. In the directorate there is no means of currency but a system of energy accounting and the use of issued energy certificates for each work week. The Directorate's calendar is arranged differently then most western nations. A Directory year is arranged by the Day, the week, and the year. The year and first work week starting in the spring solstice. There are currently three work groups for each week in a set up such as this...
Work Group One: Sunday- Off Monday- Work Tuesday- Work Wednesday-Work Thursday - Work Friday- Off Saturday- Off
Work Group Two: Sunday- Off Monday- Off Tuesday- Work Wednesday-Work Thursday - Work Friday- Work Saturday- Off
Work Group Three: Sunday- Off Monday- Off Tuesday- Off Wednesday-Work Thursday - Work Friday- Work Saturday- Work
In this arrangement of work days for each work groups traffic is reduced and work is in a way almost always being made. Until a lot more people become citizens, new work groups well be made you can change work groups that better suit you at any time. Car ownership is absent in the Directorate instead citizens will rent cars for as long as they need it but not store the car away or leave it to rust. The Board well take care of the management and maintenance of the vehicles.
The Director's post is his or hers until retirement or is impeached by the Board. The election of the Directory or any other administrative post is made by his or hers experience, appropriateness, capability. Cities in the Directory are called Urbanates and the capital being Governate. The claimed land of the Directory is the whole of the American Midwest: Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas. When this objective is reached the Directorate will become a Technate(A Technocratic State). The Objective beyond that is the whole North America!
